    Hi everyone!

Another week gone for some of you, WEEKS gone for Lurkio....a brilliant achievement so very many congratulations! Your wife will join you when she knows it's the right time for her.

Some of you are still at that tender stage, though you all sound determined to quit and that's what counts most, so the very best of luck to you ALL!!! Keep it up Mumzy and as webitha says, remember how ghastly that one tasted and keep reminding yourself that you USED to be a smoker, but are NOT any more!

All the very best littlemissteapot, I do hope you're soon feeling much better. Have you been for treatment for the abscess? They're horrible things, darned painful too. For all those watching this thread and being tempted to quit, then come on and join us and see if you can be one of the great success stories too!

For all of you here striving to quit - please keep strong and have a great weekend and always remember that you USED to be a smoker, now you've QUIT it and are so very proud of your achievements!!! We all are of you too! Thanks for the comical input MFD and well done!!!

Love and hugs to ALL, Sue.

Hi and good morning to you all.

Hope you are all well and dandy. Still trying to dry out from yesterday. I had a golf comp and it rained hard all day. Not to bad if it was showers but I was on the course for 6 hours . Absolutly soaked. Good thing was that at least I did not have to try to roll a fag and attempt to smoke it or stand outside in the cold. Milestone for me today as it is now 4 months since i stopped. I have done 4 months before so I am now in uncharted waters but looking forward to the months/years ahead being smoke free.

To all those who are just starting to cease or thinking about it. I know it is a cliche but it really is the best thing you could do to your body to give it a rest from all that smoke. I smoked for 27 years so anyone can do it.

Jump in, the waters lovely :D

    Take care

    ym
