  • S'sP (I just can't abbreviate you as SP!!!) - that's good news at least (sounded like you were going to cough up a lung if you kept on going!) Was the doc supportive of your quit?

My doc is downright rude about me ever smoking in the first place (and I have never been to him with anything smoking related) but the nurse if loverley!

Day 7! Moving into week 2! Well done you!

ab - just a few in the local tonight, I am steering away from any really boozy nights at the moment. Keeping temptation at bay for a while never harmed anyone!

  • my nurse is nice, clueless but in a nice sort of way, she's typical of people who have never smoked in that they just cannot comprehend what its like to quit. like my youngest son (21) we were driving on the m6 one day and I lit a fag up, he said why do you smoke? I said for something to do, he looked at me like I was a complete effing loon and said why don't you just scratch your @rse , I told him to f off

Morning everyone, couldnt sleep last night, so woke up really late this morning. But not cravings as such. Just have to keep reminding myself I no longer smoke. When I have finished something like the housework I think oh yay I can have a ciggy now, and then have to remind my I dont smoke anymore. Good luck for tomorrow coolmumh. Well done and hugs to everyone else, x
