  • Hi everyone,

I'm a complete newbie on here my first post although have been lurking for a while.

Intend to stop the dreaded weed tomorrow at 10am. Just thinkibg about it is giving me palpitations LOL. Have to give up for health and financial reasons so will need all the support I can get. I've given up once before for 3 months but have been smoking 35-40 a day and am so disgusted with me.

Hi MFD, I am using it as an excuse to sit here and do nothing but read mse. Have a very chilled out interview at my friends company for some holiday work when I finish my exams. Will have to go through soon and impress her though, lol. Feel too sleepy to do that. Oh well, still going strong!!! 17.5 hours and counting :D Hugs to everyone, x

  • Thanks MFD and Bellie.
I have arranged to go shopping with a non smoking friend tomorrow at 10am so hope the first couple of hours won't be too bad and won't have time beforehand to be clockwatching.

20 hours (I have been smoke free) and counting!!!:j Sad I know but I am excited about starting my new life. Going to put the money I am saving into a special savings account I have that is doing nothing just now. Wonder how I will manage to save £35 per week  . Mind you I always had the money for cigs. Very strange

Do you know of anywhere that a gal can get a nice pint of pedigree darn sarf (or even if they allow girls to drink it :p )

I'm Staffs at the mo although give me an hour and I will be heading back to the Black Country (for my sins!)

Bellie - keep it up. Focus on the good, try not to think about the bad and play on being 'spaced' with any loved ones...'oh but you have to cook / clean / make me a cuppa - I have withdrawal symptoms' ;)
