How much have you saved? have u put it in a savings account etc..im thinking of doing this. I will save 6.76 a day so at 5.45pm i will transfer 6.76 to my savings account

Well from cutting down to 10 from 20 a day on my 1st week taking Champix then not smoking for 2 weeks I've saved £103.50, probably a bit more tbh, usually smoke 40 when I'm out drinking.

I've spent £75 on clothes(wanted to give myself a treat for quitting) but the rest of it I'm saving for a holiday.
    Quit Day - 12/03/08
    Over £200 saved so far!
    Thanks to Champix!

just wanted to say good luck to everyone, i gave up last febuary and the difference between this time and all the other times i've tryed is I used to allow myself a puff or two if i was stressed or having a drink but sooner or later i'd be back smoking, hopefully after 13 months i won't start again but i still keep a packet of nicotine gum in the cupboard just in case. Stick with it it gets so much easier, i've not got great willpower and if i can do it you all can!! Keep going!!

Hi everyone, I am still here and not smoking, woo hoo!!! MFD I have not ripped anyones head off just yet. It is early though. Nothing much to report, thoigh I am noticing how much more time I have in the day and I seem to be breathing in a lot more oxygen than normal since I stopped last night. Is it too soon to be noticing this kind of stuff or am I just wishfull thinking???:D

Hi there, mumzyof2. Well done on stopping!!! I am doing not to bad, just a little light headed. I am out today so that will make me want a cig less, its normally when I am alone in the house that I smoke loads

  • Hey guys!

mumzy - good on you for stopping. The patches make it easier don't they (although do you get the funny taste in your mouth?) Just think, if you make it stick you can get your hair done more often!

Bellie - it was the light-headed-ness that got to me when I tried to go cold turkey, keep battling through it. Enjoy that extra oxygen!

Are we all feeling stong? :D
