Hi there, I have posted on this thread a few times trying to give up but I have never got round to it. But I bloomin will this time. I have just smoked a cig and hated it. Dont know why I smoke, prob boredom. And I now have lots to keep me occupied. So thats it!!!! No more fingers crossed. Wonder if I can take an unopened pack of cigs back to asda for a refund that I bought today? Does anyone know?? Right I am off to have a bath to start getting rid of this stinky smell. Good luck to everyone else who is giving up smoking. And well done and big :grouphug: to those who are now non smokers. x

  • Bellie and snail's pace - you are so brave doing it cold turkey - I tried at the end of Feb and couldn't make it stick, the dizzy spells and sweats were killing me.

I am now on patches from the nhs - free for the first week then £6.85 for 4 weeks worth. Went into Superdrug to pick them up on Saturday and was somehow shocked when the pharmacist just walked over and picked them up off the shelf (did I think the nhs did their own cheapo version??) I dd feel very mse though lol saving about £40!

I think it is the reporting to the nurse that is keeping me on the straight and narrow really though.

Night all - day 11 here I come lol
