Well done Hun,hey ho is day 3 for me and while i still dont want a fag i need one more than ever my OH gave up in june last year and said that day 3 is the hardest have gone thro lots of lollies and i admit i buckled ive gone and bought some nicorette gum god they are good ive had 3 pieces in 2 days on 2mg and they taste minging
i had the opportunity to have a sneaky rollie last night i had it in my mouth and everything thinking that the kids wont know then i realised the only person i would be cheating is myself
i will do this
You're not over the worst yet but you have got over a huge hurdle. Not smoking that rollie was a great step and day 3 is known to be particularly hard. Keep going but remember that you still have tough times ahead. You are, however, absolutely right, you will only be cheating yourself; never forget that but also remember all those you have told including us, we are all rooting for you, so when the urge comes again take a deep breath and think how proud you will be when you tell us you have resisted again.
Best of luck and if you need nicotine replacement I have found the microtabs far more pleasant than the gum.
Hope everyone else has had a positive, smoke free day.
MarkNearly there! Been struggling for 7 years but the results are showing. :j0 -
No time for messages sorry, but here's a cigarette for anyone that needs one. (Sorry its a bad drawing)

Great going webitha! Keep reasoning like that and you're set to do well. A short while after I quit a friend had left her packet along with lighter in her garden and for all the world I so felt like picking it up and sneaking one....but I never did and remained so chuffed at how strong I'd been. Keep going webitha, keep strong! To everyone else too.

hey just thought I would post quickly, say big well done and keep it up! I'm generally tempted more than anything at the weekend. This weekend I'm out with lovely non smokers so hopefully I won't succumb and ask a stranger or anything. I'm usually more determined and pig headed when I've had a drink so why I'm such a weak thing I just don't knowCompulsive Spendaholic #150
