Took pets to vets but that had already been paid for last month.
Cant believe how good I have been so far. Also offered some babysitting work for sat so shall put that money away.Just starting to face up to my debts.
Aim for December is to just try and get through without running up anymore debts at this expensive time. Also going to spend my time off over xmas working out a plan for next year.
Would like to be debt free by 30 ( 3 years to go)

Hi Mum - how is Day 2 for you - remember 1st one to quit quitting has to run around the site naked - that should keep you going eh?? LOL
That is enough to make me never smoke again!
I have found it hard today but I'm glad it is nearly over!Pay off all your debt by Xmas 2012Aim £8200Total so far £3700Left £45000 -

Hi TNG and BigEars. Jo - hope the hangover has eased up babe!
mumofcookers & deakes - hang on in there guys it will be SO worth it! You both sound so determined. Yes I know it feels like it's getting harder but that is just your little nicotine gremlin getting desperate because he doesn't want to die and he's not used to you denying him like this!!! One more day and things will definitely start to calm down. Are you drinking juice ('specially cranberry juice)? That helps your body get rid of the last traces of nicotine loads faster.... Deaks - it was THAT photo that did it for me. I still look at it every few days. Seriously freaked me out. To get to that in just 9 weeks... Aged 34!!!!OMG just too sad for words and completely avoidable. I think it would help ANY parent to give up - imagining their kid having to see them like that....
mumzy - sounds like that guy was a nasty piece of work and it's a shame you let him spoil your first day. You sounded so determined. Why don't you give yourself a few days off from worrying about it all and read some stuff that might help you be better prepared when you want to have another go? On the WhyQuit.com site there's a section with information to read before you start and there's also lots of info on the first 72 hours, so you can know what to expect and how to give yourself the easiest time of it possible. The site has been a lifeline for me! With that, and you guys on here, I am able to sit here with two smokers within 10 feet of me who are still smoking and I can stay focused and not join them!!! I'm afraid you'd have to come up with a LOT of excuses to beat that one for temptation mumzy!!
Anyway, I have been a BAD DFW today because I have bought my one "reward" for not smoking... I have so far NOT spent £166.68 on ciggies so today I treated myself to something I've wanted for AGES but not been able to afford - a TomTom SatNav!!! :j Joe is just setting it up now. I can't believe my non-smoking has "earned" something I wanted so bad in just 3.5 weeks.QUIT SMOKING 4/11/07 :j0 -

I think it would have been a good idea to put it in a money box - so I could have properly "seen" it - but I doubt I would have been able to spend it... heh heh.. Actually - maybe I'll do that from now on!
No, I allow myself £100 a week to spend on whatever I like which used to include my ciggies. So I've dropped my allowance to £50 per week and left my "ciggie" money in my bank account. This week I managed to only spend about £30 though!
My quit meter keeps track of what I've saved so I know at any time what I WOULD have spent on fags. It's so scary how it adds up. I used to be broke all the time but I always found money for ciggies. Mad innit!QUIT SMOKING 4/11/07 :j0 -
That's a shame Adz. I was just getting to know you! Good luck mate and I hope everything is okay. Take care. Hel.QUIT SMOKING 4/11/07 :j0
