More the merrier Nicky, good luck keep us updated!

Lou, don't worry it happens to all of us, you will do it when you feel it's right and I believe that if you try any other time it's unlikely to work. Keep posting on here though and get some inspiration! Good luck for when you try again.

    Hi all :hello:

Just dropped in to say well done to those who have stopped, good luck to those that are about to stop!

Tip of the day (for those not yet stopped :D) : Smokers think the 'best' bit is the first couple of drags. this is because you are taking deep drags. You are also taking deep breaths of air, WHICH IS THE BIT THAT YOU LIKE!!! Soooooo.... Before lighting up, take a few good mouthfuls of air and exhale in a controlled manner, then light up. Doesn't seem so great then, does it? All helps to remind your brain that you don't really like smoking (which you don't. Nobody does. It's true. Trust me.)

    Smoke free mwahs to all

    Hello felow quitters :hello:

sorry I havent posted for a few days but I still havent had a fag :p Im on a different laptop so dont have my exact SilkQuit figures but I think its about 3 1/2 weeks now :T over 500 disgusting cancer sticks not smoked and saved well over £100. I can smell smoke on other people when they walk past me now and I think to myself 'did I used to smell like that' _pale_ so that another thing I am saving on - perfume :o

Im off to see a friend tonight who smokes so I must be strong - got my inhalator at the ready with loads of cartridges and my patch is firmly in place :D

How is everybody else doing ????

Have a great smoke free weekend :j  :j

    Good Evening folks,

Hope everyone is feeling strong. It s been a good two days and I'm feeling great. Someone lit up next to me today and I honestly thought, God did I used to make that sort of smell.

My sense of smell seems to being working overtime at the moment. Everything smells really strong.

Well, have a good weekend everyone. Keep up the good work.

    Hi everyone :hello:

Just completed 5 whole days without a cig...yey! First major hurdle tonight...I'm going to a wedding where I don't know many other people and may feel the need to huddle outside with the smokers.

Anyone else facing a non-smoking challenge this weekend? I wish you all luck if you are.
