Qatar Airways, Cluney Mews, Warwick Road, London SW5 9EG is the UK HQ, I assume the delay was on your outward flight from the UK as the rules would not apply to return flights as Qatar is not an EU based airline0

Small Planet are based in LIthuania and Poland - I was delayed over 8 hours last Sept on Manchester - Crete Flight - I have emailed and posted to them on this but no response
Suggestions and thoughts would be gratefully recieved0 -
Everyone last year reported exactly the same, they simply ignore your correspondence and no win, no fee agents will not touch them. You are probably wasting your energy even emailing. Presumably you booked through Olympic Holidays, if so, let this be a warning to anyone else looking for that cheap last minute flight to Greece0

Bump on any thoughts.
Not sure if to persue myself and pay court fees. Although if I lose would I incur costs from Emirates
OR
Get a NWNF to progress on my behalf0 -
Were you actually delayed long enough anyway? Wouldn't it be 4+ hours?0

Dear Martin
I have following question , if u can help.
I was to board emirates flight from Manchester airport.i checked in online and
Collected by boarding passes with about 90 mins to flight ( 19:30--21:10).
In security it took very long and they told me I can't board the flight. I had emirates
Air hostess standing next to me all this time. They actually informed me at
20:50 that I wil not be allowed on flight because of delay.and the flight did not
Took off till 21:45 .
I was offered booking on next day flight.
Can I claim compensation from airline for not allowing to board the flight or from airport?
As my total delay was more than 12 hours.
I have got insure and go black policy.
Kind regards

From the Emirates website
http://www.emirates.com/english/plan_book/essential_information/dont_miss_your_flight.aspx
20:50 is when the boarding will have closed according to the website. Did your boarding card show a different time? Assuming that it did not, if you were at the gate at 20.49 you may have a claim for denied boarding, if 20:50 then you wont. Emirates would likely have records showing what time the gate was closed. (the delayed departure tends not to change the gate closure time)0
