Are these rentention contracts being offered for a minimum 12 month or 18 month contract? I'm currently on a 12 month Select 500 tariff, 500 xnet mins + free sony k800i, + for £25pm. Due to run out mid July of this yr.
Received a call today asking if I was interested in an early upgrade deal. £100 credit to my account and 10% discount on my current tariff. Although they wanted £199 for the N95 so told them I'd wait till nearer the time my contract ends. I will only go for a 12 month contract, none of this 18 month rubbish.0 -

Hi Matte,
I'm afraid the deals I've described above are all for 18 month contracts only - it seems all the best upgrade deals are for 18 month deals these days. The 10% discount and £100 credit for a 12 month deal doesn't sound too bad though. I prefer to go for the 18 month one to get the better deal and the free broadband.

I can't beleive so many people want to get the N95 yet hardly any one even knows how powerful they really are.
So what if VOIP has been blocked!! Change the product code and DONE! You have VOIP.
If you dont wanna do that install a skype program - simple!!!
To think that so many people are after the N95 - yet they don't even know how to use it!0 -

I have just got this N95 from O2.
£35 p.m for 750 x-met mins, 100 texts plus 2000 weekend mins on 18 month contract. I paid £90 for the phone but the best part is phone being Unlocked.
My orange contract is getting over next month, I will probably go for N95 again but Orange phones are Locked. Is there any way to get Nokia N95 unlocked which in locked on Orange?0 -

As far as I'm aware the only way to get it unlocked is through the provider themselves so in this case Orange - I think it costs somewhere around £20.

O2 have just offered me an N95 on £35 p/m, 12 month contract on a free upgrade.
Might have took it, if they had any in stock... sigh!0 -
Found it on mobilephonesdirect.co.uk for £35 per month on Vodafone on a 12 MONTH CONTRACT (so it costs £420 after 1 year then u can cancel or get a new phone), tariff is anytime 500, 500 mins and 250 text and free stop the clock, you dont have to pay anything for the handset
For those of you put off by branding and voip restrictions I
found this youtube vid that shows you how to update firmware to unblock and use voip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN9eRlddfH0
They get the firmware from a site called: http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/
It lets you update your firmware, unbrand the phone and it will enable voip (especially useful for restricted vodafone and orange phones)
Enjoy0
