and I was just getting warmed up!

I'm too reasonable for my own good me! :D

How about a get rid of the deadbeat dad thread? :p :rotfl: :p

    Hi hm,

Well done! That is the hardest part over with.

I agree with everyone else on this thread regarding your hubby his role and repsonsibilities in this and how he makes you feel, so I won't repeat it.

Telling my OH was the hardest thing I have ever done, and I knew that he'd be kind and supportive (because that is who he is), so I can only imagine how hard it must have been with your hubby's attitude and not knowing how he would react. I am so very proud of you.

Good luck talking it over tonight, and remember we are all here supporting you and would be making you cups of tea, giving you hugs and cheering you on tonight if we were there with you.

    Take care,

After reading your posts i just wanted to say well done HM for being brave enough to tell your husband - at least its out in the open now.

I cant understand why he keeps all his money to himself and you have to work 2 jobs and that he gives his ex more money than what you have to keep for yourself. To be honest he should have asked himself the question why do you have to work 2 jobs in the first place and maybe he should give you some more money towards the wedding.

At the end of the day if you were able to give up your 2nd job you would be able to spend more time at home surely he would want that too.

I would really want to clear that up after all its a wedding for both of you why should you have to pay everything. If you can try and work out something with him to pay off your debts seeing as you have had to pay out all that money in the first place. Im sure he can afford a bit extra with what he earns.

Can i just ask who pays for your daughters things? I hope you dont have to fork out for everything for her two!

I would also clear up why you have to account for everything and that he doesnt that hardly seems fair does it.

Hope everything goes ok and like everyone else has said if you need some support just pop back on here theres lots of nice people to help you and your not on your own :)

    Best of luck xx
