:rotfl: well, you should have a more macho username then, like "Butch Guy" or "Rambo Killfest" or at least "Mr Southwester"!!

PMSL at "Rambo Killfest"! Now why didn't I think of that when I picked my username? :rotfl:

Best of luck Hannahsmummy, hopefully your OH won't be as bad as you think tonight. It's natural to fear the worst and he surely must have some redeeming features or you wouldn't be with him in the first place.

    Best wishes

Tsk, don't you just hate it when these "reasonable" posters come in and ruin a good old "get rid of the deadbeat wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/sheep thread?

and I was just getting warmed up!

i have just got off the phone after telling him everything. he was at work- so he didnt go mad, but he does have his own office so he could have done. he just said we will talk about it tonight. im sat here bawling my eyes out, i think that its just sheer relief. he doesnt know the amount, but he does know the reason is because of the wedding. He knows that it was supposed to be sorted out, but he now knows it wasnt and isnt. i told him i still have some left to pay but thats why i took 2 jobs and i am working towards paying them off, i told him i paid off my barclaycard loan (i paid that last year 1500) and that in total i have paid back 2900 of what i originally owed. I told him i feel really bad about what has happened but that i have worked really hard in paying these debts off and that havent had to ask him for one penny, which he admitted was true. so we will see what happens tonight. half expecting him to come home from work now. But its done!
Now im debt free i want to be fat free too!
  • Well that's the hardest part over now, so stop panicking, cos what is done is done....

How the hell did he think YOU were going to pay it back alone, with a 2 year old to look after during the day, and struggling with 2 jobs.

How much did you borrow for the wedding?

Hugs babe, you have done the right thing!

    Hi,
Hope all goes well tonight. I'm in the same boat, although the debts are joint I look after (that's a joke) our finances and have got to tell my husband what a mess I've made of it.

    Good luck

Phew! I was really worried for a minute that we had scared you off. Well done, you are braver than me. I suppose if he doesn't know how much you owe, in his head he may build it up to megabucks, so when you tell how much you owe in reality it may be a relief.

Have a good cry !!!!!!!!{hugs}}}}}} you should sleep easier tonight.
