Well done for telling him - I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but when you do speak to him tonight, maybe you could explain to him how he is making you feel in other ways too (the controlling aspect etc), and really get things out in the open. Tell him you don't want to argue, and you don't want him to rant and rave, you just want to start being honest with each other so you can build a stronger relationship.

Oh dear. Good luck. Sure it will be all fine by the end of the weekend. If you love each other you'll get thru it (as said before) A lot worse can happen in life, it makes me so angry that money seems to take over lives and ruin them. Health and happiness is so much more important. Since losing my Dad suddenly, every day I'm thankful to get through the day without trauma or heartache. So, hang in there, and tell it how it is. Once it's done you'll feel so much better.

Aw snaggles, you're so reasonable and nice. I wish I was married to you rather than that baying hell hound, mrs Dither.

    Good luck with tonight.
I hadn't realised that the reason you were in debt was for YOUR wedding. How come HE doesn't feel the need to pay HIS half? That would make me mad.

Ahhh, thanks Dithering Dad....but I have to be honest and say it's much easier to be reasonable in writing when you have chance to think about what you are saying first.....in person, I'm a right hormonal stroppy cow! :D

And I don't believe for a minute that Mrs Dither is a baying hellhound....I bet she's lovely!
