Thanks, TinkerbellUK - having read your post I think I will do a spreadsheet. With the lemon thyme, you could try hanging it up in bunches to dry which will make eveything look and smell nice; then, when it's dried, store it in the freezer or make up some little muslin bags, fill them with dried thyme and put them in wardrobes, the airing cupboard etc., and hang one under the bath tap! Put little sprigs of it in ice-cubes - fiddly, I know, but very impressive when you have guests! You could also use it as a base for natural pot-pourri. Last week, I turned out my kitchen cupboards and found some out-of-date herbs and spices (some were so out-of-date I was ashamed!) - I mixed them all up and put them into little dishes with some bicarb and they are making perfect room-fresheners - you could add dried lemon thyme or any other herb that has outgrown its welcome in the garden. You could also use to it to make your own stuffing!

What wonderful ideas - off to check cupboards for old herbs.............

    Morning all

Sorry I haven't read any posts, this is just a quick one to let you know that I became a grandma last night!!

Baby Jon Daniel was born at 10.40 last night after a 2 hour labour!! He is 6 weeks early but weighed in at 4lb 8ozs and is doing very well. He will be in special care for about 2 weeks. His mum is very impressed that she escaped without a single stitch and his dad is amazed that his mum finally did something quickly LOL.

I got home from the hospital at 4am after having a quick cuddle with my new grandson and now have to do the school run, go to work and then take my parents shopping! Think I may need matchsticks later.

    CONGRATULATIONS MOGGINS!! :D

And to mum and dad too!!! :D

Welcome to the world Jon Daniel :D

Great to see you back again.

    Hello

Am back at my desk today, didnt come in yesterday as I was too confused about what to do with this job. Cut along story short, I sit here on my own running this office, my so called ukboss never comes in (only seen him twice this year!), doesnt speak to me apart from short sharp email:o Yet the Big boss in Dubai, doesnt realise what a useless pr*t he is? and somehow he manages to isolate me - so i feel totally shut out. Last straw was other day when I was told there would be "no requirement for me to attend" our exhibition in 2 weeks time. I dont think the guy would have even told me! its only because i asked about hotel/travel arrangements etc (as I do have a family to sort out etc) - It was like a real slap in the face and just made me feel like they dont want me here. I emailed Dubai for reasons as to why? No one has bothered to even respond:confused::o very hard to continue when you dont feel wanted isnt it, but suppose i will have to sit it out and look for something else.

Really the guy is basically taking the Dubai Boss for a ride, they are paying for this office set up etc (not cheap in C.Wharf) and I found out that he has started his own business up......using this "prestigious" address (which seems fraudulent to me???) and I dont think the Big Boss knows!!

So thats why I am pi**ed off, im doing a good job and he is pratting about - yet sun shines out of his rearend as far as they are concerned - if only they knew!

So Anniestar I know exactly how you feel, I sat here the other day crying my eyes out and no one knew - so sometimes you are alone.... please feel free to pm me if you want to chat xx

Sorry guys for the rant, not very interesting post - or maybe is it abit better than hearing my DW being on!

Pennypincher - I had one of those Lidl 1/4lb burgers last nite - they are really nice and much better than the Birdseye ones we last had - they were very fatty.:D
catowen - I wished Id know you were doing a tesco shop - ive got a leaflet in the tesco magazine yesterday about free delivery for first orders! you could have had it!
Moggins - Congratulations on the birth of Jon Daniel - ahhh:T
