Morning All
Congratulations to Grandma Moggins: Glad the lo and dd are ok.
Were off to the swimming baths this morning and this afternoon my dsis is coming round after shes had her nails done.
Going to have a look at the weather report and decided whether to clean inside or spend more time in the garden. Really think I'm going to have to put something in the budget next month my new found love of gardening.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
omg.. im so upset.... i have just rung my mum to say happy birthday.. and she feels unwell, she has come down with flu and can hardly speak, she says that she hasnt felt well all night and has had no sleep and wants to cancel her lunch with me.. she has no idea that my sister was commimg and she is on her way already as she lives a long way. we are also supposed to be going out for a meal tomorrow night and she says that shes going to cancel that as well.... im hoping that maybe as the day goes on that she might feel a little better, im going to have to ring all the relatives and tell them not to come for the surprise.. i feel so gutted, im also upset that my mum isnt well on this special day, i should be at work by now, but i need to calm down first as ive been blubbering a bit .
thankyou for all her birthday wishes, and conratulatons to nanny moggins.
catch up with you all later

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I'm just trying to work out how this forum works. I notice that people thank others for their posts etc, but what is the add so and so to your buddy list thing ??? Sorry to seem a bit dumb. I only belong to one other forum and that one is a bit different to this one.
Newster - Welcome to OS I'm sure you'll meet loads of people here. In terms of that Thanks button people tend to use it in different ways, you could use it to acknowledge something someone has said, or they have helped you, or wished you well etc. or on the daily especially I know I tend to use it as a way of acknowledging I've read someones post and it also helps as it shows where you have read up to.
This is only my take on it though so others may have other ideasYou laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

Morning all
AMIE399 - Happy Birthday to your Mum, sorry to hear she is not well
We are looking forward to a nice long, Bank Holiday weekend.
Well, the Premium Bonds are like waiting for a bus for me - nothing for a year then 2 wins in 2 successive months. We won £100 in April and I found out yesterday that we have won £150 this month, a £50 and a £100 prize. :j
Hope everyone has a pleasant Bank Holiday weekend.0 -
NiteRider - congrats on your win ! My grandad bought me a £5 premium bond when I was born - 27years and counting and still no wins!October grocery challenge(started 17/10/07):
