Morning All!!!
Am desperately trying to call DH as I forgot to get mince out of the freezer for spaghetti and meatballs tonight, think he's gone to the gym so I may have to pop home myself and do it (fortunately my house is just across the road).
After painstakingly putting on last nights gammon and ensuring jacket pots were in the oven, we popped to the pub after voting and ended up getting a pizza for dinner. The kids have the gammon in their sandwiches and I'll use the jackets for lunches with baked beans so don't feel too guilty plus I saved the juices from the SC to make pea and ham soup for lunch tomorrow, so it wasn't wasted!!!
Am doing a short day today so my Bank Holiday starts at 3!!! :T Tommorrow will be usual ballet in the morning and plenty of gardening as the weather looks as though it will take a turn for the worse by Sunday.Saturday night we are taking DS out to the cinema to see Spiderman, DD will be having a sleepover with her cousin which she is very excited about.
AMIE - sorry about your mum, hope it works out.
((((Anniestar))))
Moggins - congratulations on becoming a grandma!!!! Lovely news.
Right better get on with some work. Take care all and have a lovely day.

For some reason I really thought you were male.
Anyhow, yesterdays post has now been edited to help set the record straight.
Thankyou Bargain Rzl for letting me know. And sorry to anyone else I may have mixed up/confused.

Anniestar I understand why you are hiding your feelings from your husband, but it's not helping you in the long run...you've got enough to cope with, without bottling it all up too.
Are there any support groups near you? Or on the internet? The one thing I do know is that you won't be alonew, there are other people out there who have been through the same things as you have and can probably give you lots of support.
Sometimes just talking about it is enough, and if spilling it out on this forum helps then go ahead. But I suspect that telling us will only provide you with temporary respite.
Have you been to your GP to tell him how you feel? You don't need meds, but he should be able to refer you to a counsellor - either just for you or for you and your husband. It's amazing how helpful something like that can be: talking this through with someone face to face, who is detatched from the situation but trained to help you, can make a big difference.
They can help you work through all that stuff that is going round and round and round and round in your head, and help you get back in control. It doesn't mean you're mad or weak, getting help is best thing you can do. (If your child was in the state you are in, you'd want them to talk to you... as an adult, the issues you are dealing with are more complex, and many adults have to overcome the fear/sense of failure at having to ask for help.
Please try this soon, if you wait until you've really gone over the edge then it's such hard work to get back to normality. <hug>0 -

Hiya! I’m all behind which I’m blaming on DH not leaving till after he’d been to the dentist but, really, it’s because I’ve spent too long on here! I have managed to get sheets changed, upstairs and downstairs dusted and hoovered, three lots of washing on the line – nice and sunny, if a bit breezy, here now – and I’m having my lunch (ham and mustard sandwich and a piece of cake) before I go shopping. If I don’t eat first I’ll spend a lot more because, when I’m hungry even the carrier bags look tempting. Carrier bags? I hear you say.  I do take my own, honest!
AMIE – sounds like you’ve salvaged a goodish day for today and a lovely weekend with your sister. Enjoy it and s*d the diet – you’ve worked hard all week so let your hair down, girl! :A :A Hopefully, your mum will feel more up to it as the weekend progresses! (((hugs))) to you, her and your sister!
JACKIEO – welcome back and glad you had such a good time!
SHEZ – you shouldn’t have to put up with all that at work.  How frustrating! It certainly does sound fraudulent, starting a business using the work’s address. I hope things improve for you – I know what it’s like to feel unappreciated at work!
Well, DH had a lovely visit to the dentist and came back with a bill for £163 for treatment (fillings) and the hygienist!  As an ex-dental nurse, I think I remember enough to treat him myself next time. He’s just bought an all-singing all-dancing drill and it hasn’t been used yet!
Well, had my lunch – more crumbs in the keyboard! – and will get ready to hit the farm shop and butcher – have meal-planned in my head so that I won’t get sidetracked into wanting to buy everything I see!
Have a great afternoon1
