Can I claim on a closed account, no account number?

I was wondering if anyone knew if you could go through the claim process on an account that has been closed for 2 years??

hi everyone

I currently have a claim in against the abbey for bank charges but now am i thinking about trying to recover charges from 2 credit cards I have since cancelled and no longer have my account numbers.

one was a barclaycard and the other was from MBNA, ad closed both around Feb 2006.

can i still claim? do these banks have to provide me with all my details, even though they will only be able to go off my name and address??

any ideas anyone?

Thinking of reclaiming my bank charges on my Natwest and Barclays accounts but was wanting to close these accounts as they both charge account fees. Can you reclaim charges on accounts that have been closed?

If not do you think it is worth my while paying out for these accounts for a year when a pay back is not guaranteed.
