Well his apology was obviously sincere - not! Selling out early is a measure of good business. He is well placed to run a much larger operation.
Looks like he couldn't run the proverbial :rotfl:16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. I ordered flowers when the £12 deal went live & requested them to be sent on the 13th, arena flowers confirmed via email that they would be sent for the 13th, I've now looked at the order and it says processing.... I don't hold any hope they will come today Iv'e sent them a cancel email.
Very disappointed with arena flowers.0 -

Dear Friends and Customers,
We take great pride in our reputation for delivering the freshest flowers for a great price. That is why I’d like to personally apologise to a small group of our customers today for failing to deliver their bouquets for Valentine’s Day on time.
As a result of logistical issues in our supply chain some orders missed our deadline for delivery today. The team did everything possible to minimise the impact. They worked through the night to fulfil as many orders as possible, and our entire management team packed flowers for 24hrs straight (you cannot start packing any earlier if you want to guarantee an oustanding product is delivered). However this was not enough to get all our orders out for delivery and I am truly sorry for our failure to complete these orders in time. This is not up to the service that I believe our brand stands for.
For those affected, I have sent an email this morning. All orders will be delivered on Friday 15th and we have given a 50% discount as an apology. In addition all orders for a dozen red roses have been upgraded to two dozen red roses. If however customers would like to cancel their order they can do so by emailing customer@arenaflowers.com with “Cancel” in the subject line and we will be happy to do so.
We are unable to respond to phone calls at the moment, but we are answering all email enquiries as fast as we can and have employed
additional staff to respond to any enquiries that you may have – customer@arenaflowers.com

So I'm guessing that even though I have recieved the email stating that they have upgraded my order to 24 roses, which is how many I ordered in the first place. I should in fact get a 50% discount, which I assume will be in the form of a refund ?0 -

No it says you'll receive 24 if you ordered the £12 roses. Personally I'd rather have a refund!0 -

Everyone who was let down which i expect is everyone who ordered could go and leave a negative reply!
I will be!
Would be interesting to see how many got their flowers today? I suspect no one did :-(
EDIT: Just noticed their satisfaction guarantee page is missing
N
The satisfaction guarantee page is still there. It just doesn't seem to work by clicking the link in this chain. If you go onto the main site and scroll down and select it then it works fine.0 -

Maybe he was lucky after all, as nobody got their flowers.0 -
Maybe he was lucky after all, as nobody got their flowers.
The article up on the MSE website says that it affected 5% of orders.
I wonder if they therefore prioritised the ones despatched according to whether people used an offer code or not to minimise the cost of refunds. It would make sense financially for them to do this if a big chunk of the orders have not been supplied to them.0
