  • I've just had the appologetic email from Will Wynne, Co-Founder Arena Flowers.
Whilst I do have sympathy for them being let down by their suppliers, surely they would have been prepared for this and cannot have been taken by surprise at the influx of orders generated by the users of MSE.
I'm not just talking about the 500 that got the discounted 12 roses here, but there must be hundreds if not thousands of others like myself who have placed orders having missed out on the first 500 discounted, and instead placed orders for the more expensive flowers.

So they are offering me 24 red roses as compensation for the 24 red roses I ordered. How does that work exactly ?

    dear money saving expert,
I used your code, MSEArena, but i used it for 2 dozen roses and chocolates. I have received the generic email that they have sent to everyone. well offering 2 dozen for the price of one, is fine, but as this is a lower equivalent of what i have already ordered I was wondering where i stand. they are not responding to emails and the phones are 'down' so i was wondering if you could contact them on my behalf and ask them for a response, you have my email from my registration it would be much appreciated.Regards,

I have no doubt that they are inundated with emails currently and as MSE have posted an update on the site I doubt they can get any more involved with your order.

I would hang tight for now if you have emailed and wait for them to comeback to your with you order query or send a cancellation email (subject line) as stated by MSE.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
  • 100 roses tomorrow wouldn't be any good. the point is delivery had to happen today for most buyers. A credit to double the value of the flowers ordered would be better (not double what was paid) - but not sure I would use them again!

Another one here, absolutley gutted about this...I'm going to cancel! at that same time i also ordered some flowers for my mums birthday and i'm going to be cancelling them aswell.

To send me a email only a few minutes ago on the day they are suppose to be delivered just isnt good customers service. what a shame!!!

Precisely - the emails should have gone out earlier - i.e., the small hours of the morning to give us a chance to get some good flowers in a shop to make up for today's lack. Annoying.. Oh well!
  • any news on the AMAZEBOXES?
  • Hi there,

Arena Flowers confirmed this morning that all the Amaze Boxes were sent with no problems.

    Hope this helps,

I totally agree, they would have known yesterday that they wouldn't be able to fulfill the orders, so to only just get an email at midday on the day of delivery is appalling to be honest.
They should of sent out emails at the very first opportunity when they realised their suppliers had issues, this would of given people time to at least make alternative arrangements.
But even then I would of been left with the dog eared remnents of the unwanted bunches of flowers at the supermarket. :(
