  • So ANGRY right now.

To receive an email at this time is a complete JOKE!

I have never missed a year when it comes to flowers, and now I'm going to have to find something decent for the wife. NOT HAPPY
  • This is unbelievable! To let so many people down with such little notice to limit the damage is terrible customer service.

The obligation was to deliver them on the 14th not the 15th - extra flowers or a refund is hardly compensation but I will be going for the refund nevertheless!

I won't be using Arena flowers ever again.
  • You guys are lucky to have even received an email! I havent even got that. If i had known earlier, i would have made alternate arrangements. As they have FAILED, it is now upto me to rush around last minute to pay over the odds prices for the 'last selection' of the flowers available, which i am pretty sure will not impress my lady. Great. And I didnt even go for the £12 roses just for the additional kick down below!!

I got the email at 1215. Went down to M&S and they have sold out. Will now have to change my afternoon off from golf with a few friends to looking for a florist. And will likely have to pay more for the privilege. The order has been cancelled. No point having them delivered tomorrow after the event and I wouldn't want an account credit since I do not trust their ability to source appropriate volumes and fulfill future orders. I'd rather send flowers today and then my usual suprises every so often in future at random times.

Roses are popular on Valentine's Day - shock horror.

I just had an email to say that my flowers order will not be arriving for my wife today and I order at the minute the link went live !!!! So annoyed as I always buy fresh flowers for my wife and never misses a valentines day. Im annoyed at myself for being drawn into the email as I trust the MSE advise but this has failed me massively not happy at all. whats worse is I tried to ring to get an update and there is just a message what a poor poor service and I think MSE should never promote there services or they will loose peoples trust.

I suspect MSE had no reasons to doubt this and they negotiate good offers (or sometimes companies will want to do so in reverse to promote themselves) that we may choose to take up if we so wish. I do not see a problem with MSE promoting future discount codes if applicable as long as there is a caveat warning at the same time that this company could not fulfil an order the last time they had a promotional offer.

meant to add i didnt get the £12 flowers as they are sold out but i went for the £19.99 flowers so they must have got alot of additional business from the people missed out on this.
I think this is goig to cause them massive damage commercially, who would next year buy flowers with them thinking the same could hapen again!
disgraceful service from a company which is going to fill the pain of this mistake for sometime, its the whole attitude of send a email on the day! awful.
Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!

I agree with jsmith82, its very disappointing, I hope they turn up tomorrow.

It wouldn't suprise me if they can provide 24 red roses instead of 12 as they are expecting half of the orders to be cancelled and from the volume they have received today. They would not be ordering extra to make up for it. So could be interesting if fewer than 50% of those ordering cancelled...
  • I haven't received any email either bar the initial one that confirmed my order. I've waited in for this delivery for my girlfriend and now I've got to go out an get some leftover roses at the local supermarket. Really crap service from this company especially as they must've known before today that there was a problem.
  • Absolutely appalled by Arena flowers. Going to deliver the roses the day after Valentines day... takes away the whole point of ordering couriered flowers. They knew exactly how many orders they would get when they made the offer so there's no excuse not to have the supply chain set up. Thanks Arena for making my wife feel so special today.

Everyone who was let down which i expect is everyone who ordered could go and leave a negative reply!

    I will be!

Would be interesting to see how many got their flowers today? I suspect no one did :-(

EDIT: Just noticed their satisfaction guarantee page is missing

shopping.com-rating-180x100.jpg We do our very best to produce exactly the right experience for our customers and 99% of the time, we get it right. On the rare occasion that mistakes occur, we offer our satisfaction guarantee.
However, don't just take our word for it. Below is feedback from real customers. Or, click the Shopping.com logo to read independent reviews of Arena Flowers.

Guess after this their rating will not be 5 's

I know things happen outside things that can be controlled but how disappointing today of all days for the site to be let down by suppliers and for customers to be let down with orders :( one flower today means more than 24 tomorrow.
