Arena flowers: Red roses for £11.99 MSE Special..

I just got an apologetic email confirming they will refund my money. I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for them now.

Just tried calling them to see if delivery will come today and their offices do not open until 8am - though it is 9.30am.

Is this a genuine company?

Really is a shambles as many people that have emailed for a refund have yet to receive confirmation and so if arenaflowers deliver today i expect the customers will receive both flowers and a refund yet on twitter the company says its either one or the other so its all very confusing.

Agreed. Our contract is with Arena, not MSE. Arena offered two choices. I chose to cancel when I got the email. So I do not put weight on the MSE quote as there was no confirmation from Arena. Similarly Arena did not say we could cancel in the next week or so and this would be odd for fresh products unless there was a quality issue.

If some people can cancel and still receive flowers, or receive flowers and then cancel but some just get a refund but no flowers then that makes this situation a lot worse.

Colleagues better half who ordered his at the same time as me has just received 24 roses, even though he sent a cancel email......

Yesterday via email, so lets see if they get that.
and the ones I ordered and didn't cancel have arrived today

Nothing yet - their 'phones still not allowing calls, and twitter feed has gone suspiciously quiet after promising to help.

Maybe we will get 36 roses on Monday?!

I have just been called by my wife saying she received the flowers 24hrs *too late*. She was *not* happy yesterday as she makes biug thing out of all these romantic stuff. :mad:

I have received the refund in Paypal so at least they did something right.

NEVER going to Arena Flowers again. They can p-off as far as I am concerned.
