Try rubbing a dry bar of soap along the bits where it's rubbing, very very lightly - it puts a smooth layer over the rubby bits till the bra breaks in.
Glad you're enjoying Zumba, I think it's fun!
Wasn't quite on par at the gym last night, lifting felt like effort when it normally feels like fungonna wrap up and potter about with OH and pooch tonight before we go for our belated Valentine meal!
Have a lovely Friday everyone

Day 7 of 30ds for me today. No idea how I'm going to do it next week as its half term and the kids are at home. Am definately more flexible but not losing weight (maybe cos I've not done the diet part). If I can continue 30ds next week, will probably move on into level 2 and see how that goes. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Am I too late to join in?
I am looking for some motivation/ exercise buddies.
I have been yo-yo dieting for ages. ..
This summer I have gone from 220lb (yes, I am ashamed) down to 186.
I spent the summer in Croatia, I did not go on a diet per sey but I did a lot of physical work in a farm like setting. I created a nice sized garden from scratch, and it killed me, all the digging being bent over etc.
I had early mornings and bed time around midnight on average.
I also spent a month working in a restaurant on the coast.
This is different than working at one at home as it is an all day job.
Work starts at 9am and you're done when you're done midnight, 1am.
I ate quite a bit during this time. But the food was minimally processed.
I ate mostly home grown veg, and home raised meats from trusted sources.
I ate lots of cakes, kolachi and tortes but again they were all fresh prepared without preservatives.
A regular breakfast for me would be fried eggs, full fat cheese with butter cream, big chunk of bread, sausages and salad.
But despite all of this I have lost weight without thinking about it.
Now I spent the fall/winter in the UK and I have gained it all back... well nearly.
I am not in work, so I am at home a lot. I try to go out for walks and keep busy with housework, but there is only so much you can do.
I eat maybe 1/4 of what I ate over the summer but the pounds just pile on. I blink and I've gained a pound!!!
It is really really really discouraging. It doesn't help one bit that I am a lazy starter.
I know exercise will make me feel good. I always feel good after. But just starting is like pulling teeth with me. I can't seem to push myself.
I feel so unhealthy, depressed over the way I look, I am out of shape.
I don't think I need to say any more...
Today I decided to sign up to a free online yoga course. I've done two lessons and could barely get up off the ground when I finished.
I guess I am just looking for some pushing and prodding to help me get healthier and skinnier, and stay that way.0 -
Welcome to the thread teamshepherd
hopefully we will all help to motivate each other! Well done on starting the yoga - its a very good exercise in my view - unfortunately due to health problems i can't do it anymore the way i used to.
Today i have done very little exercise as i'm rather sore from yesterday. I am planning on going to a car boot sale tomorrow though so more lifting of boxes to come LOL! I weighed myself today and have lost 3lbsi am delighted!!!

Oh thank you!
I have completed an hour of yoga today in total. Done it in two goes but hey!
Congrats on the loss0 -
Can I join you too please?
I lost almost 2 stone last year and have managed on the whole to keep it off - I tend to go up and down by 2lbs but am happy with that.
I did it by using myfitnesspal and doing lots of exercise.
But, the weather, dark nights and work going bonkers meant that January and February so far have been very sparse on the exercise front.
I used Couch to 5K to start running and managed about 6.5Km with a view to doing a 10km in April, swimming (which I love) and do a mile (64 lengths) a time, 30 Day Shred (Jillian gets on my wick but it works) and I have a dog that has to be walked three times a day.
I've kept up the dog walking (2x 15-20 min walks and one longer one) and have done some form of sweaty exercise once or twice a week but I need to get back into it properly.
I'm 41 now  and don't want to be! It feels like the ravages of time are catching up with me so I need to get a grip again. I always feel better after exercise so why don't I do more?
I read this thread yesterday and decided to get cracking with a long dog walk/jog and another walk in the afternoon.
Today I'm going to go for another jog with the dog along the river path and then try to do some Tae Bo - I bought a Billy Blanks Tae Bo DVD after having a go at one on You Tube - its fun and gets you sweaty.
Hope you don't mind me joining in?0 -
Just back from a jog with the dog.
We did 40 mins of interval training - running for 2 mins then walk for 30 secs - he's only little so didn't want to tire him out too much (that's my excuse anyway). He's now retired back to the couch - not sure that's what Couch to 5K is all about :rotfl:
The sunshine, exercise and fresh air did me the world of good and I feel fab now - in fact just about to have a go at the new Tae Bo DVD.
Hope we all have a good day - make the most of the weather!0 -
Hi to teamshepherd and WelshWoofer:wave:
Pretty sure I have a yoga dvd somewhere which I have never tried, came with a thick book I have never read. Will try and find it. Well done WW on your weight loss, I have considered borrowing a friends dog to walk long distances with!
No dvd yesterday, went for a 'power walk' with DD (walking fast to keep up with her scooter) and too knackered. Did day 8 of 30ds today, encouraged by the scales which have made me 4lb lighter despite some choccies whilst watching a film last night. Must have worked a little harder as sweat was dripping off me and I'm still only on level 1:rotfl:
I made a rather rash decision last week. My friend wants to do a class at the leisure centre and I said I will go with her if she still wants to after half term. Doubt I'll even fit in my gym clothes... thought I'd be superfit after a fortnight of 30ds:eek:
Off to check out the excercise channels on sky - never looked at these before but noticed them yesterday. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Did cheerleading today and it was pretty good, lots of dancing and chucking people around
Shame a few were missing due to poorlyness!
Yesterday's powerlifting workout rocked, added 5kg to deadlift, squat and bench press, and using 10kg dumbbells now
Off for a hot bath soon, I think I need it!
