Aw nvm Money maker! Stick with bottles of water
Added some reps and weights to deadlifts, squats and pull ups at the gym, and did a whole ballroom class without standing on my partner's feet! Wooooo! (He was pretty happy about that too)

Aww you guys that sounds great, looking at 30 day shred.. looks scary!
I lost weight last year with taking up running, which I love but I feel like I could do with another thing to mix it up but also when I can't run (recently due to ice or Hubbie being out etc)
I have tried X box zumba which I enjoyed but seem to forget to do, also the your shape, which I also liked....but find it hard to get changed etc. and do it. (I'd rather go running)
so it's great to have a 'group' here to share with.
How are you guys doing with eating? I am hopeless, so I lost weight basically by training hard, but when I can't / don't the weight creeps back because I still find it hard not to eat sweets or big meals. ( I can't bear being hungry!)0 -
Hello loubylou35
Wish I could run!!! I can barely run the length of myself. Although with doing my DVDs and stuff maybe I'd get further now than I used to(I also have a problem with the size of my chest and feel the need to 'hold' myself in place if there's any vertical movement more than 2 inches! :rotfl:)
Walked last night and this morning so 2 points to me!!
Also did Davina's 30 min 'Pump' workout last night so happy with that
Eating?! Fun subject that one. Can I say 'I eat like a horse'?! (as opposed to eat horses :rotfl:)
My problem is that I LOVE my food. The bigger the portions the better!Snack a bit too unfortunately!! When I did a weight management course a few years ago, the best thing I did was have to keep a food diary and hand it in every week. That was enough to put me off eating so much crap! Plus the fact it made me very aware of what I should/shouln't be eating. I upped my fruit and veg intake, and upped my daily water. Never counted a calorie or point or anything. Thursday nights were still 'pizza night' (we're talking a full pizza not a couple of slices
)

Moneymaker - it was (stifles giggles) Mr Motivator legs bums and tums! I used to do it years ago and fancied a change.
Did a short (30 mins) walk but walked super quick to make up for it (and coz it was dark and I am a wuss!). When I started to flag up the hill I kept saying "bikini, bikini, I will wear a bikini!"
Headabovewater - I used to eat a whole pizza with some oven chips on the top and not bat an eyelid. My portion control was waaaay over the top."I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
Set myself a target of 20 lengths at the pool.
Just kinda got on with it...and did 35 *shock*
Really surprised myself. Was really happy with not being the fattest at the pool either. I know, I'm vain!!
Keep on it my lovelies!!

Hi Everybody!
Gosh I am impressed with all of your exercising endeavours!
I wish I could run too Loubylou35 - but like Headabovewater I have a chest issue too (can anyone recommend a sports bra - that doesn't cost the earth but does the job; especially for the well blessed?)!
Well today I have done more of the same plus mixed it up a bit with Heartbreak_stars suggestion (thank you HBS) and a little 1-1 personal training from my daughter: )
Reading the forums I am becoming inspired to go swimming again - it has been a long time! Will need to invest in a cossie but I think it will be well worth it, and if it wasn't for a nasty cough I have at the mo, I would dust off me 30 day shred (purchased in a moment of madness much more than 30 days ago! Has anyone done it all for 30 days and were the results worth it?
See you all tomorrow

Primark do a sports bra called Rock Solid! - it's £8 and goes up to an F cup (I take a 36G but can just about squidge into the 36F!).
Glad you liked my bit strength training O_A - and always nice to have your own personal trainer

I got my sports bra from Debenhams a few months back. Notice they have several different types on offer at the mo so may be worth a browse. Avon have a new one available too but unsure of the quality.
You guys are all doing so well, I think it helps to 'write things down' as it were to help keep the motivation going. I did day 4 of the 30ds. Changed my soup tins to water bottles (thanks heartbreak_star) which weigh in slightly heavier at 0.5kg. They are slightly wetter when curling, too. Must put a fresh lid on them. Still struggling with press-ups. I really have never had much arm strength so these types of excercises kill me. I do try to do it the easier was using my knees but it's still really tricky.
My story is that until a year or so ago, I had never had any weight problems and was able to eat whatever I liked. Then I quit smoking. I compensated with food and managed to gain around 2 3/4 stone making me bigger than I was even when pregnant! My motivation is to shift this weight - about 1/4 of my total bodyweight needs to go.
I like food too, www.myfitnesspal.com is great for seeing exactly what you are eating.
O_A, google 90ds results to see some before and after pics. No idea if I can get a good after pic but I have some very wobbly before pics. Would just be pleased to fit comfortably in my clothes as I have refused to buy bigger ones and am down to 2 pairs of trousers only that fit. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I got a sports bra from Avon years ago which does the job for me, but the problem with the likes of that is that it's size 10/12/14 etc rather than back and cup size. Shock Absorbers are £30+ which I'm reluctant to part with. Seen ones (Lonsdale maybe??) in Sports Direct which were about £8ish too so tempted to try that, as I've a 45 min drive to the nearest Primark.
Random question about them while we're on the subject - are you better to get the actual size you are or back/cup size smaller or what?!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
I'd go with normal size, you need to be able to move and breathe properly
I advise against Asda's 2-pack sports bras for £7 - false economy - I wore them twice and now they offer no support at all
