  • HBS you'll know this likely! ;)

Weighed myself on one of those (noisy!) machines in the chemist today.

    The BMI figure makes sense.

Body fat index I think I understand.

But what's 'fat mass' and 'free fat mass'??

    EDIT:

Ooooh just added the 2 figures together and I come up with my weight, so I guess it's the breakdown of the body fat index??

Hello, I'm back!! :) Feeling better now.

Sadly enough I don't know this, I can't remember the last time I went on numbers other than my dress size and how much I can lift :rotfl:

Maybe your doc might know? :)

Well finally my hip pain eased enough to allow me to go out for a walk today :) 3 miles uphill as i walked home from the local shops! Its been a while since i did that and enjoyed chatting to the sheep on the way :D. Hopefully i haven't overdone it and i don't wake up sore again tomorrow though. Lifted my mood a bit getting out and moving :)

well, I have a torn knee cartilage so that's the 30ds off the agenda for a while. In its place I will be doing some gentle swimming and possibly aqua aerobics. Rats.

Level 2 of 30ds yesterday, seemed really easy even though I haven't done it for days. Must be all my 10 minute you tube workouts I'm doing. Starting to feel quite fit now (as much as you can being 2st overweight!). Must have done over 10 days of 30ds level 2 but will stick for the mo as school hols coming up and will probably have to take a 2 week break

Zumba today - blimey, it just gets harder. Am starting to learn some of the steps.

Hope you are all feeling better, sounds like we're quite an unhealthy lot at the mo:rotfl:

  • This 30ds does sound the ticket, but after trying 1 of Jillian's DVDs I've been completely put off trying another.... :o

    I'm doing well this week!!

    Lazy night Monday.

Was away to a hotel for a night Tue-Wed and made it to the gym before dinner on Tues and after breakfast on Wed!! :T:T
I used the treadmill which is a big first for me! In total I ran almost 4kms over the 2 days! Was dead impressed with myself coz I thought I couldn't run! (think the DVDs are helping!!) Will maybe make it a regular thing and get OH to go out running with me once a week or something.

    Zumba tonight :D

  • Well I seem to have got back in the gym at the level I was before I got sick, so yay :) Standard 85kg deadlift, 75kg squat and 55kg bench press now :D Hopeing to add some weight next week.

Been mixing it up with Insanity workouts too, I'd forgotten how fun they are.

Interesting article I found the other day:

    Definitely worth a read.

    Have a great Easter weekend!

£4.50 at the mo from tesco online.

    Or free on youtube;)

But unless standing exercises only, I struggle to see the laptop screen.

Hi everyone, I'm still working my butt off at the 30 ds, thinking on day 18 or 19, I didn't do any exercise yesterday, I really felt I needed a break but I feel crap for not doing anything ( and eating too many mini eggs :o). Decided to have a go at level 3 and surprisingly I enjoyed it, ok I'm not doing it to the extent of the ladies on it but I gave it a good go.

I'm on holiday next week so I am going to really need to motivate myself to carry n with it, wish me luck !
