    Evening all.

Lent a friend 30ds so gonna do Davina tonight (sounds rude, apologies!). Gonna have to shut the cats in the spare room as otherwise they think its a great game chasing my feet while I exercise and trying to hide under my yoga mat.

LOL probably a good idea, I had my 5 year old and not quite 2 year old trying to exercise with me, they kept nicking my weights!!

  • Get well soon!

I managed 5k on the treadmill last night, and 10km on the bike. Feeling really slow and heavy this morning though :( Boxing work tonight, and then tomorrow I'm off to Blackpool for a cheerleading competition! Woo!

    Hello, could I join please......

I've managed to lose a stone recently through healthy eating and a touch of IBS so I'm not really too overweight anymore but I do try to exercise to a work out dvd 3 times a week (also walk with the dogs twice a day).

I'm after the motivation of like minded people more than anything else.

Mix and match my DVD's, into Davina at the mo but need to get some heavier weights, also do 20DS but find it a bit boring to do constantly. Got a few other ones as well. Did Pump it Up yesterday which though was tireing at the time didn't make me feel as if I'd worked out afterwards, think I like my hand weights too much.

Also really need to get some more trainers!

Oops! I had a phone call from the gym last night! Wanting to make sure I was aware I was paying for the gym membership I haven't been using! Work has been so crazy I've jut not had the energy to go. Hopefully things will be calming down a little after this week so if nothing else we can make it to Aqua Zumba next week and possibly going to go swimming with my OH :)

I did aqua Zumba once when I used to go to aqua aerobics, our usual instructor was off and the replacement done it, it was great fun, I found the normal aerobics really boring after that!

Just finished day 2 of the 30ds :D. I had a sore back yesterday and today, after doing the workout my back feels fine again :T maybe just needed a good stretch or something ?

Hello all! I joined you a few weeks ago and kept up with you for a while and then life and work got in the way. I have still been walking a minimum of 2 -3 miles a day with the dog with longer 5 mile walks on the weekend and did a bit of running and Tae Bo last weekend but not much other than that this week.
But I woke up this morning and told myself to get a grip and get on with it.

So today I have walked 3 miles so far and done the 30 DS for the first time in ages - thought I'd better start off again on Level 1 (have been up to L3 in the past) as I'd not done it for a while but found it fairly OK. May do another L1 and then move back up to L2.

Need to get back into the exercise thing - I enjoy when I'm doing it and feel great afterwards but its getting started that's the hard part :p

Had a great swim this morning with my OH. He was trying to teach me front crawl (I only ever learned breast stroke at school) and I'm pretty sure I didn't look very graceful!! We spent about 1.5hours in the water and I felt great (but tired) afterwards! At least the gym can't say I'm not using my membership now! We're going to try to make it more of a regular thing which I'm looking forward to :)
