Hi all,
On an enforced break from 30ds due to being absolutely full of cold. Saturday was the last workout I did but what with my knee and nose, I'm fighting a losing battle! Knee now better supported using the poundland latex support or tubi grip. Will see how that goes as its a 3 week wait to see the doctor round here (unless urgent).
Weight has gone back up and comfort eating coming in to play. Will try to have a doze shortly - at least I can't eat when I'm asleep:rotfl:
The-mango, 30ds is more for toning rather than major weight loss or muscles. Obviously a sensible diet will help with the losing weight side of things. It depends how much you have to lose but I would have expected to have lost around a stone after 30 days with a much firmer tummy. I then plan(ned) to either do 30ds again or pick another dvd to help tone further as I have more weight to shift.

Get well soon Money maker! Comfort eating sucks, it came into play with my migraine too

Thanks HBS, feeling a little better today. Tried to do L1 of 30ds again but knee still painful. Sort of limped my way through it but barely broke a sweat.
Onwards and upwards. Quiet on here today. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I've been awol yet again - just not too well at the min either - depression has been really bad and can hardly get the energy to move. I did 15 sets of walking up and down the stairs today! I know its not much but it got me moved more than the past few days at leastDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Not doing so great this week!
Yes I'm getting all my walking to/from work in, but didn't manage a workout DVD. Disappointed in myself actually. BUT got Zumba tonight so gonna give it all I've got
:D

All movement is good! Enjoy Zumba HAW
Broke some lifting records at the gym on Tuesday - 100kg deadlift (1 rep only!), 80kg squat (1 rep) and 55kg bench press (1 rep). Lowered the weight a little and did my usual sets after that.
Had a light weights night last night - dumbbells, lunges, pushups, work on form for power lifts, and lots of stretching.
Cardio tonight - walk with the pooch then bashing some focus pads around with the OH.
Hope all the poorlies feel better soon. Onwards and upwards! (Literally up the stairs for you Fairyclicks)

Glad I don't read your posts before I workout, HBS, just reading them knackers me out!
Better today. Tentatively did 30ds level 2. The cardio is slightly less impact so could participate more. I'm totally useless at plank exercises, manage about 5 seconds then I've had it! Feeling my resolve return - I will be slim/fit/gorgeous/toned for this summer:DPlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

We will all be FABULOUS this summer!
Well done on 30DSwith plank, make sure you pull your tum right in and clasp your hands - I feel it helps hold the position
