  • It's simply a workout based on dance - you do it at the pace you can, and everyone seems to do their own thing a bit anyway! I enjoyed the few classes I went to before I turned into a bit of a bloke haha!

  • You'll love it! It is kinda dance-y, but even with 2 left feet and no co-ordination it's still fun! Just be able to laugh at yourself!! There's a couple of women 50+ and 1 guy prob late teens that goes to our class :)

  • Not had the greatest 2 days for exercise. Walked a mile or 2 yesterday but it was much too cold to be out for long without a hat on! And today I've walked about another mile. Nothing really huge but it's still exercise. I've also been helping to put up some display things on the ceiling at school which has meant doing lots of stretching...does that count? I had to stretch for a while as we have to hook things through the ceiling tiles so they don't fall down!

  • Happy Friday everyone!

Walking's good, especially when you're recovering from poorliness.

Not a massive exercise day for me yesterday either. Did a lunchtime walk of a mile or so and a bit of dancing later on. Wanted to do more but my tum is still tender :(

Heavy weights tonight if I can manage it! I restarted my blog too if anyone's bored enough to take a look ;)http://kimsanityworkout.blogspot.com/

I've been exercising my fingers on my keyboard again today while butt firmly planted on the sofa :o:o I have had a few days of feeling rough with migraine and nausea mind you so felt like a rest was the best plan :D

I'm thinking about having a dance around the house to some lively tunes.....but might save that for tomorrow in case i bring the headache back :p

I was also thinking it might be fun to have a daily challenge on here - maybe something that would suit different levels so we can include beginners, regular exercisers and advanced??? for example how about a sit-up day tomorrow? For me doing 10 would be a challenge cos i haven't done any for years, but regulars and advanced can do lots more - maybe 30 and 50? or 50 and 100???? :rotfl: what do you think?

Afternoon everyone :D. Just done another 3.5mies, took hubby with me this time and he carried the wee man in his back pack. Feet are sore though, ned to get some good walking shoes especially she when I start building up the miles.

  • So, I've been rubbish this week. Been so sleepy in the evening I have pretty much just gone to bed.
Hubby commented that I was looking slimmer so that has boosted my confidence and I did my exercise DVD with extra gusto this morning.

Fairyclicks: hope you are feeling better today. x

  • Zumba - can one of you experts give me the low down on this? Have watched it on youtube and it just seems to be a lot of really fit people gyrating their waists and hips in an enviable way! The reality must be different as I know of 80 year olds who do it. So what am I letting myself in for?

I honestly don't like Zumba as all the people who go to the classes round me are like the youtube videos and I just don't know the routines or anything and look like a fool and end up with people dancing into me. I know most people really love it though so it's worth a try!
