  • UPDATE

Ok guys, woke up this morning to two emails from instagamepoints.

One saying ticket has been updated, one with my code. I got onto my Xbox quickly before I set off for work just to make sure it's a genuine code, and well... Before they give the same code to somebody else.

And it worked. I am now richer to the tune of 2100 Microsoft points.

(Wished I hadn't been on twitter telling everyone it was a scam last night lol).

Anyway, my message to you guys is keep the faith, keep trying.

It is NOT a scam, however they ARE unreliable and should probably still be reported for advertising instant points if they can't deliver them instantly. They are incompetent. But for those of you out there still waiting, there is still hope, keep trying and make sure you have a ticket raised and threaten them with watchdog and trading standards.

Don't take no !!!! from them.
  • So if it is not a scam why not email everyone and say they are having issues sorry for the delay? I sent the website on to xbox last night so they are looking into it so maybe they saw that on Twitter and are now doing something as I have not received anything. I will raise a ticket now saying I will report them to watchdog unless they have a code that works or a refund for me by midnight tonight.

The problem is that PayPal will protect you if you are buying something that is tangible, but as all of you have unfortunately found out the protection doesn't seem to exist if you buy something that is delivered electronically.

Well it does in American and Australia so why not here?

You would have to ask PayPal that - it's their rule, so they must have a reason for operating different policies in different regions.
