  • Hi guys I found the site early on Monday morning as the oh wanted his xBox ms points for the Black Ops II maps so now kicking myself I didn't check this out before as I usually do.

Anyway PayPal got back to say that these "conmen" had delivered the points via email emmm no they have not but I have only two choices how do I escalate it please cause my only two options are so close the claim as its resolved or change the claim because I got them but they are not what I bought....no neither are right and I can't choose anything else can anyone help please?

I also copied and pasted in this forum to PayPal so they can see for themselves that it has happened to everyone. I am thinking of contacting Watchdog about this issue.
  • so what option do we have?

If they are telling paypal they sent the coed (when they blatantly did not) what recourse do we have?

who do we go after? Paypal or this con-artist. I paid with my bank card through paypal so will try their fraud dept. first.
  • So I got myself points from these guys, never had problems with other sites I use and it seems that when you buy points nothing happens via the site apart from it says processing on your account. So I rang and rang and requested a refund and e-mailed still with no joys.
So whats even more frustrating is you can't get your money back.
    WHY??
Well is seems as though paypal have just closed my case because they only continue claims that are actually posted, so anything that is emailed is not covered via the policy.
So unless I can get in touch with this random person I doubt even exists then I've been SWINDLED!! Same for everyone else in here :(
  • I too have been refused a refund by PayPal because this was a digital transaction. An expensive lesson learnt.

are the company who seem to provide a registration service, perhaps if the people who have experienced problems could email them, not sure if they have any responsibility but worth a try?

  • it's ridiculous, they have stolen money, continue to 'trade', and Paypal is refusing to do anything about it.

  • I was also caught by this site. I have logged a dispute with Paypal but from the previous comments I don't think I'll be getting my money back either.

If PayPal receive a number of disputed transactions do they take action against the site? Will they suspend their account? Would it not be obvious to PayPal that something is wrong with this site, and should they not protect other victims against this scam???

If PayPal aren't playing ball then I suggest that all of you report the matter to Action Fraud http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/.

When you report it mention that you have raised a dispute with PayPal and that they won't help you and that it looks like a widespread scam based on this thread.

So it looks like PayPal are happy to keep taking their fee for every transaction that is made on that site but unwilling to protect all these buyers from what is obvious a scam. How come paypal get a responce yet we don't? I may set up a site like that money for old rope or should that be nothing.

I am going to contact bbc watchdog get them to help and I will report them to the on line fraud police, I was going to do that the other day but wanted to wait for the Paypal outcome. Paypal are a joke allowing the seller to win. Thank fully my fella paid by credit card so some hope getting it back from the cc company.
