    Morning all

Lovely day here today, so must remember to open the greenhouse door, my poor broccolis keeled over yesterday with the heat

Having a go at being half-healthy today, so cooking chicken portions, jacket potato and beans for tea, and might put the BM on.

Want to do some decluttering, but the sunshine might drag me outside to plant some more seeds :D

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Hi all,

I think this is the earliest I've managed to post on here!! Despite being up earlier quite regularly my DD's are usually demanding my attention but they are both still snoring (might have smthing to do with having me up half the night!!!)

As well as washing/ironing/cooking/cleaning (house needs abit of a spring clean) and working today, I need to do a college paper (exam on 16th May and I missed the train home from work last night so didn't go in - I'd promised kids swimming too), I also want to do a menu plan til Sat coz am existing on storecupboard and I'm also going to have a go at sm cheese/spinach pasties. And I've got loads of paperwork to sort out as well and am going to take girls to park with their bikes later!!!

Am going to put washing on and hoover to get me started then have a cup of tea, wash and dress and sort DD's out.

Hope every1's having a good day - maybe one that's not as busy as mine - I feel like going back to bed for a week!!!

    ((((HUGS)))) to all

    Luv Jxx

  • Hi all, hugs to PP and Smokeybabe's LO, and to Donny-Gal, hope you feel better as the day goes on.

The sun is out already here today and I have the windows open to freshen up the house. Must do a whistle stop clean of the house today and then get down to really deep clean the kitchen, it's disgusting :o:o

OH has just (literally) told me that he's not home for dinner tonight so will have to revise my plans. I think I have a chilli-for-one tucked away in the freezer so will defrost that, and sit down and re-jig my meal plan for the week later. I suppose at least he told me BEFORE I defrosted the chicken...

Have a great day, everyone! Hugs to those in need

Good morning. Just a quick one as I'm off to w*** later. I'm going to do an advice session at a new venue, so that'll be fun. I pass by a smallholding that sells wonderful free-range eggs from the gate, so will stop there and stock up. They're almost as good as the ones that our hens laid.

Got my Freecycled slowcooker going yesterday, and made sausage casserole. It was fab, so many thanks to Catowen and Churchmouse for your tips :T :A . Have a pork curry going now.

I have 2 chicken carcases in the freezer. Can you make stock in a slowcooker?

I've had my hair cut, and after many years of the same layered style, I'm now growing it into a bob. My hairderessser did this by cutting it shorter   but assured me that this is the quickest way to get it all the same length  She's been doing my hair ever since I had the children, so I trust her. I've also got a red rinse on it, and I love it

Have a great day, Penny. x

    Morning all!

I didn't get back to the thread yesterday at all, I was so busy!! Just caught up with yesterday and this morning.

    CATZNINE: Happy Anniversary!:D

PENNY PINCHER: Sorry you had bad news at the hospital, I hope things pick up for you soon :grouphug:

SMOKYBABE: hope LO feels better soon :A

MIOLIERE: You can have a look at my magazine! visit https://www.ourmagazine.co.uk and click on 'latest issue' in the top right hand corner. Rest? Reesst, R E S T - no I'm sorry I don't understand that word;)

Got up at 6 and jumped into my trainers for a quick run, got back at 6.40 and made breakfast for me and OH and also made his lunch and got a pitta pocket out of freezer for my lunch later. Plan today is lots of W**K!! My first client is 9.30 so got time for a nice bath and walk my little doggy first. Then I work straight through to 3, get home at 3.20, wait for Tesco delivery whilst doing a quick flick round the house with the feather duster and preparing our dinners for later. Then its back out at 5.40 to work, finish at 8.20, home, quick change of clothes and of to sing at an open mike night with my OH on acoustic bass and our friend on acoustic guitar!

I'll be taking my pitta pocket filled with tuna and sweetcorn, a banana, a little tub of nuts, seeds and dried blueberries, a few cherry tomatoes and an apple to work with me today to eat bit by bit in between clients (I usually get 10 or 15 mins gap in between each one) and have had homemade muesli with spya milk for breakfast. Dinner for me tonight will probably be a good big bowl of soup before I go back out to work, with whats left of yesterdays soda bread, then a sarnie on the run later!

I may get chance to pop back this afternoon - hope you all have a good day (we've got beautiful sunshine here in Shropshire!):T
