Most likely the Trafford Center, thats the nearest that comes up on a postal code search when using a lancaster postal code.0

I'd think someone living in Lancaster wouldn't confuse the Trafford Centre, Manchester with a John Lewis supposedly in their own town.0 -

Oh im well aware - but my comment was based on putting a central lancaster postal code on johnlewis.com, it came up with the trafford center.

Because I have, many times.
No, never and I've never signed for anything unseen...why would I? If it does happen in the future I will not sign until I am sure it's for me/expected. A TV box really can't be mistaken for much else. Simple really.0 -

My house is 3 storey so delivery drivers will often come to the first floor front door to check I'm in before dragging a delivery up the steps, they always hand over the paper work to sign while they fetch the item from the van.
I don't sign anything myself until I've inspected it but I can see how this can easily happen0 -

...would you sign for a big TV box and accept it when you were not expecting it?
Why would anyone....unless?
I've been asked to sign for a delivery that's not for me, it's not that difficult to refuse to do so really.0 -
