Son is stingy

My ds who is now 15 is and always has been tight with money and I have always shelled out for non essential items for him but now he is older i think he should pay for his own 'luxuries'. He gets £5 a week pocket money, also has about £2000 in the bank and £140 Xmas money but still insists that I buy everything for him and…

Can you then keep hold of the item when you get home from the shopping and return it if he doesn't pay for it.
