Have a look at the 3 links above the extra large red letters that say:

If I need to make it easier to see, please say, cheers. (I mean the NBA links)0 -
There's now three Thomson threads that explain the 2 year letter as well traceye0

Hiya
Not sure if this is covered anywhere else; sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. We were delayed by 23 hours a couple of weeks ago due to technical and crew issues. Not expecting this to be easy at all but can anyone advise if we are better claiming ourselves or claiming off the credit card company?
Also this is probably going to be a long shot (and I feek really greedy!) but this was a 23 hour delay on an outbound package holiday, can we claim for 1/14th of the holiday cost as well (as paid for 14 nights but only had a 13 night holiday as spent the first night in airport hotel at Manchester)?
Thanks0 -

Look lower down the forum page and repost this in the section relation to the airline you flew with, it would be worth including a bit more detail as to flight numbers etc. You should have been given details of your entitlement by the airline on the day0 -
We were on flight 008 LA to Heathrow 3 Feb 13 which landed at Heathrow 22 hours later. We have received the standard letter from Virgin saying it was due to extraordinary circumstances and refused any claim for compensation as the cause for the delay was a broken windscreen. Has any any further advice on this excuse and what would be the next step. ??0

My advice is not to double post (or start your own thread) when there is an active Virgin thread already. You've gotta read this stuff, Dotty: the answers are all there ...0 -
Hello
I am posting this thread as I originally posted on trip advisor and received a torrent of abuse by the sad people on that website. I was on a Thomas Cook flight that was delayed from South Tenerife airport to Manchester airport on Friday 5th September 2008. I have the booking reference but I need the flight number this flight was delayed for a substantial amount of time. Any help would be much appreciatiated.0 -
Without wishing to be abusive, perhaps you should have posted this on the appropriate Thomas Cook thread0

Any advice as to what I do next - sent a letter to Cubana Airlines relating to a delay we had in September 2010 on 4 February, didn't get a response, so emailed letter to them, still no response. As they are refusing to even acknowledge my letter, what is the next course of action I should take?0

Cubana Airlines being the national airline of Cuba?
Where from & to and for how long might be useful information0
