I had a look at this thread because I couldn't believe someone lived by an unnecessary and irrelevant number so much that they would start it.

It is irrelevant - and the fact that some have mentioned it not being accurate makes it even more of a waste of time.

As a final point, I see some sigs have something about reporting abusive or illegal posts.

I hope that I am allowed to have a different view and that I am not deemed to be abusive as that is not how I intend to appear to you all.
