yeah but the last post thread that i posted in was posted in later than the party thread. if you look at the old boards its higher up so means it was posted later than the other thread te he

Not sure , but my username might be borassic over on the old site and after having a quick look , I see I had just under 8000 posts, I forgot i'd deleted about 1500 . I know you're busy so I wont pester you again , for at least a week anyway

Post counts mean nothing at all. Those with a mental problem get a kick out of seeing a large number underneath their username.

They serve no purpose and should be done away with.

Clearly we are all never going to agree on the validity or usefulness of postcounts. However, whilst that function exists on the site it might as well be as near accurate as possible.

Perhaps the importance some people attach to their postcount is simply a reflection of how much they identify with the site and its values and the postcount is a tangible expression of their contribution?

Whether we agree or not name-calling is really rather unecessary I feel.

(Strange that someone with these views should chose to view this thread anyway!!)
