Has Anyone Ever Ended Up Shipping to a Buyer They Knew?

Not sold to someone I know but ......
SIL put the Christmas presses we sent her boys on to e-bay on 31st Dec a couple of years ago. I had a work colleague buy them back for half of what we paid for them & then returned them for a full refund with the receipt - which she & my brother knew was available if they needed to return the pressies.

Kind of done the opposite.
I was bidding on some tools, got outbid, so didn't worry about it. The next day my brother said he'd bought the same item on ebay, turned out it was exactly the same item, and we'd been bidding against each other.
Then when he went to pick them up (30 miles away), we both knew the bloke :rotfl:Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

I listed a baby item on ebay it turned out my next door neighbours son had won it. Also passed on all the other unsold baby bits there way.0

I bought a chair from my sister about 18 months ago. Whilst on Ebay I thought I'd check out her auctions as she had mentioned she had listed some items and noticed she had this really nice chair listed. Had I known she was selling it beforehand, I'd have offered to buy it from her.
There was less than an hour to go to the auction ended and just a couple of bids and I considered current top bid price very cheap so decided I'd try to buy it for myself. My sister said she couldn't believe it when the item sold and she realised who the winning bidder was.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I once sold a book on Amazon to my flat mate.
He got it within 40 minutes of ordering.0 -
Sold something to David Cameron once. But the address wasn't Downing Street unfortunately! We've had a very famous rugby player buy from us at work though. I have no idea who he is but my colleague was super jealous that I spoke to him (played for England and is now a presenter of some sport show I think)

I too have sold an item to someone living just a couple of streets away. It was a Bank Holiday so I guess he was very surprised to receive it through the letter box.
He left me excellent feedback.20p Savers Club #1020 -

I sold some items to a very rich guy this weekend for his mansion in London.
Should've charged more lol. (Or maybe that's WHY he's so rich...)They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
