I once sold a Doctor Who telephone to a woman and the address was Props Dept, Big Brother. This was a few years ago, I had to watch the show to see if it ever appeared, sadly it didn't. That's a lot of my life I will never back lol x

I once sold a book for .99p who wanted to collect it as he only lived a couple of miles away. When he came we found out he was our next door neighbours father.

I also sold some cd's to a Lord something or other and the address was his manor house estate. (I googled him to check he really was a Lord).

A couple of years ago I sold an ornament to a Hollywood celeb, very famous name, and the address on ebay was his accountants in the USA. But when he paid he used his London address. (again I googled it to check it really was him, and it was). It wasn't even an expensive ornament, only about £10 and he never left feedback for anyone.

I sold some vintage kitchenalia last summer to a theatre's props dept.

Data Protection Act and all that, you can get into trouble for naming names.

  • I once bought an item that was located in the town where my sister lives. I asked if it was ok if she picked it up, and when I told the seller her name it turned out that she worked for my sister, and she dropped it off the next time she went into work.

Can be a bit sneaky about it though. Like naming that actor Ronny Jepp for example? ;)
