Once bought a jacket, and the seller turned out to be someone living at the end of my street (it's a very small street, only about 10 houses or so). He delivered it about 10 mins after I'd paid - I nearly left feedback straightaway, then realised it might look a bit dodgy!

I've sold to a few minor celebs, and also had a couple of major "infamous" types fresh out of prison

  • I've sold an item to a lady who lived in the next street. I was also recently bidding against my sister for the same item without either or us realising! She "won" the item - it was my christmas present - so she could probably have got it alot cheaper if I hadn't also been bidding, but at least she knows I liked it!:rotfl:

Not sold, but the item I sell requires a base product. I'd ordered my product from China as I usually do but I was running low and needed more desperately so I searched locally hoping to be able to get it quicker.

Found a seller and messaged them, she was lovely and told me to nip in, collect the product and she'd sell it to me cheaper than my China supplier because she'd then got no fees. She provided and address 2 streets away. I was a bit amazed tbh, but even more amazed when a very good friend from school opened the door to me the next morning! I'd not seen her since we were 17 so it was a heck of a nice surprise and we are back in touch now :)

I sold an item & when I checked the address it was someone I didn't know a few doors down from me on the opposite side of the road so I delivered it personally.

A seller from the next street did this to me, but unfortunately did not tell me he was intending to hand deliver it. My front door is not on the road that is in my address so he put it through the wrong door and the people in that house denied ever receiving it. He was not a happy seller!

Not sure its classed as a 'celeb' but I did sell an item to a member of a very famous bread manufacturers family and the address I had to send it too was their factory. Left me glowing feedback :)

  • Love reading these types of thread, had some one buy something with the Same first and surname as me and also sold an item about 15 mins away. Nothing right next to me though
