    Ah Monday...back to reality. :)

Bf doesn't get public holidays off work (well, he doesn't NOT get them, he just gets the holiday allowance for them, and he can take them whenever he wants), so he is back at work today.

I am studiously ignoring my bank account because we're into the 2 weeks before payday, when things start to get a bit hairy. :rotfl:

Talking of hairy, I have just cut my daughter's hair. She's five, and I can count the number of haircuts she has had on one hand, because her hair grows very slowly, but it has finally become long, and had got a bit straggly around the bottom.

In an attempt to be a good DFW-er, I cut it myself. I took about 2 inches off, and it looks much better and healthier. She's pleased with it too, which is a relief!

Son needs a haircut too, but he goes to a barber in town, which only costs £6, so not too bad. I must remember to take him before they go to their dad's next weekend, or I will get muttered comments about it, no doubt.

I have a shopping list but it is only about 8 items long, so I am hoping this will be a cheap week. I should really come up with a meal plan. :o

I spent £5 on an audiobook for N, for the journey to Yorkshire, as she gets travel sick if she reads or watches a dvd. As my car is new (to me), I am considering this an investment. It will cost me far more than that to have the upholstery steam cleaned, if she vomits all over it!

Urgh, I feel so crap I am thinking of taking tomorrow off work. :(

If anyone uses FB or Twitter, I am temporarily absent from both. I won't go into why at this point, except to say that it is to avoid problems I don't need at the moment.

I should have known better than daring to be happy.

  • nah ah Madam,

You be happy and remember the Golden rule. If there is an opportunity for a person or people to be T wats then so shall it be.

Of course there is the other Golden Rule about treating others as you wish to be treated which was written to accomodate/deal with the above.

Not everyone listens and thus we learn to ignore said T wats. (insert some positivity guff here, I have tooth ache so you know, got nothing!)

I have known you a long time and it is fab to see you SO happy.

Life is full of ups and downs, as we both know. Enjoy the ups and tell the T Wats to sod off.

    Love Buffy xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
