EasyJet are still selling the seats on the 16:20...have you spoken to EasyJet?
Have emailed them awaiting a response, they are still selling the 16:20 seats but at over twice the price of the 10:20 seats so is it possible Travel Republic opted to move our flight to the cheapest option that day in order to make more money out of my booking? ie they would have to pay EasyJet less for a cheaper flight?0 -

This way you have separate contracts with the airline and accommodation provider and as you have discovered, if the airline decides to make a change you are stuffed. Looking at the airline timetable, the flight operates at 1620 every day except Saturdays when it is 1020 in the morning, if you are returning on a Saturday, you really have no choice but at least it is not 0800!
Yeah it seems this way, thanks for the advice, I presume they have done it that way in order to maximise profit out of the booking, ie they've (Travel Republic) moved our flight to a much cheaper alternative flight in order to make more money out of the booking for themselves! Damn0 -
What date is it? Are they saying Easyjet have made the change or they have?0

Returning date is July 5th - there are ironically still flights available at both the early time and the original planned time!
The email stated EasyJet made the change but gave a generic "due to reasons out of our control" reason0 -
If there's an easyJet flight at a later time there's no reason at all why they shouldn't be able to move you to that. EasyJet would certainly allow that if you had booked direct from them so I would get on the phone to TR.
Edit: Just checked and I see only one flight on 5/7.0 -

Easyjet appear to have one flight each day from FCO to BRS. Sun-Fri this is at 16:20 and on a Saturday this is at 10:20.
How long ago did you book these flights, it may be that originally they were due to be at 16:20 7 days per week and then when they went to the summer timetable at the end of March it maybe changed...still not sure where the 8am came from0 -
Are you looking on the easyjet website? The only flight I can see for the 5th is the 10.20am?0

Where are you seeing two flight times on a Saturday. Easyjet or Travel Republic?
Easyjet are only showing one 10.20 flight on a Saturday nothing at 08.00 for the whole of July. It sounds like TR have cocked up and have sold you a flight that doesn't even exist.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

The 8am was the apparent rescheduled time TR emailed me with, which is part of it the issue because it doesn't seem to exist! Thanks for the advice anyway I will talk to TR again!0
