And would they even offer compensation in less than 24hrs from me putting in the claim? Am I jumping the gun here?

Airlines will do anything they can to try and not pay compensation. You are due what I said you are due. If they have underpaid you contact them laying out what we have said and ask them to refute the figures. Other wise tell them you will be submitting a letter before action and will see them in court.

Three adults travelled. I've just spent the past five hours in A&E with my eldest following this thread on my phone so after I get something to eat, I post the pdf (if i can) and someone with more brains than me can take a look at it.

When I "Check my claim" on the Easyjet website it just says "We're just completing the final checks and you should hear from us soon" so I'm not sure what they have sent out!

And I don`t know how to load an image of the pdf file lol

    Just a sprained ankle!

And I can't post it as I'm a new member, not quite sure how many posts I have to make before I can but one of the entries had ***EUC and then £447. Does the EUC mean compensation?

Quick update. Despite naming three people on the compensation claim, they only paid for two! Seems strange as they paid for the three tickets home. Maybe trying to pull a fast one.

Have replied by email but will keep following it up

Irish - you need to send and NBA to EJ, via email giving them 14 days minimum to pay up or take them to small claims. EJ are useless/incompetent or just plain awkward when it comes to all aspects of claims.

To be fair to EJ and as suspected, it was my fault as I hadn't filled the form in correctly!
I spoke to someone via one of those online chat things and they said just to make a new claim. Thing is, the first claim complete with reimbursements for the extra flights was passed within a couple of hours, this one is taking a bit longer

    And what is a NBA?
