Again truly appaling service from the courts that you get notification 2 weeks after the event. Shocking.
I suspect your request may fall on deaf ears at the court.

I called the court but they couldn't see anything specific as why my claim was struck out so they suggested for me to send an email asking for clarification .I have done that this morning...will see !
    I am appalled!

I think we'll all be intrigued to see the reason. I hope EJ haven't got away with some skullduggery requesting the claim be struck off due to some procedural issue.

Just got an e-mail about compensation, 2 weeks after submitting the EU261 form.

Confirmed I will get 250 Euros per person for our flight from Amsterdam to Bristol which was delayed by 4 hours. Happy with that, almost £400 straight into the pot for honeymoon in 19 days time!

So have the court replied to your email a week ago seeking clarification?

    Hello everyone,

I am writing this on behalf of my fianc!e to see if there is anything else that can be done regarding the situation she is in now. I have read the main page but couldn't see anything for this kind of situation.

Flight number: EZY8530, Naples (Italy) to London Gatwick (England) .

My fianc!e was refused entry on the plane because information on her boarding pass did not match exactly with her passport ID. Her first name is printed in full but for some reason her surname only had an initial followed by a dot (possibly an error on our behalf, not sure yet).

When the error was spotted, my fianc!e was asked to step aside so that the Easyjet staff member could continue checking-in everyone else and then deal with her situation after. It was 45 minutes later she was seen to but by then it was too late to do much. The plane was going to leave and they continued to refuse to let her on.

At no point in all the checks prior to that was anything mentioned about this. She also had no issues when in London Gatwick, flying out to Naples. They didn't even try calling London Gatwick to ask for confirmation.

The entire thing was emotionally and physically draining and stressful.

Easyjet has arranged a flight for tomorrow, for free, but the damage is done. She now has to explain to work why she won't be in tomorrow etc.

I doubt much more can be done but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask around for some advice. :)

    Thank you for reading!

I sent another email but no reply so far. I am not an expert on legal matters but I find odd that a Judge would struck out a case without explanation . Anyone else find this weird?
Also ,because of the time between the Judge decision and the Court sending me a late notification and then not replying to my emails for clarification...I am out of time to even appeal! Shocking!
