So how long have you and your relatives been waiting since submitting thee N1 to court?
If the court system is getting clogged up with these claims, which I suspect are mostly won by the claimant, why isn't the court system contacting the CAA to get them to actually do their job and make the airlines comply with law?
Sent in September iirc. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -
I did see the news story, but my view is that it’s a genuine EC, no compensation due and you need to look at your travel insurance.
I don’t think you have a claim against the airport either I’m afraid.
So sorry to hear about your situation but I don’t feel this is an EC261/2004 valid claim. After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

One really quick question for the Notice before action letter.
The Vauban's Guide states "This should be addressed to “The Chairman” of the airline and sent to their UK Head Office." -Who is the chairman?
Companies house shows Mr Ian Bruce Day as the company secretary
Google brings up Mr Phillip Hugh Meeson as the CEO
or do I just send it to "The Chairman"
ie:
The Chairman

I wouldn’t worry too much about that, in fact they’ve started to use an address at LS11 for claims, just delete ‘The Chairman’ and send it to Low Fare Finder House’ it will find its way to the claims dept. After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

It is Phil Meeson if you want to put a name on it but,as Novice says, I don’t think it matters. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0

Thanks,
all my previous letters have been to the claims dept, (LS11) but wasn't sure if the NBA needed to go to the registered office...?

They seem to employ a whole team to just try to get out of paying the statutory compensation...0 -

Yes - send it to the Low Fare Finder address, everything was dealt with there, but that new address has sprung up over the last 18 months, no doubt their head office was not able to cope with the amount of claims!

Morning
We were due to depart 0630 on LS831 MAN to PMI this morning but upon boarding we were told we had been moved to a newly scheduled flight LS8310 departing 0915 or 0930.
Distance is over 1500km (just).
Does this qualify as a delay or cancellation?
Also should we be given any food vouchers? We have been told no.
Thanks!0 -
there is no flight to Palma showing 0915 or 0930. The 06:30 is currently showing final boarding...is this the flight you are on or are you saying there are 2 flights with the same flight number departing this morning?
It appears to be a delay so any compensation would be based on your arrival time in Palma v's scheduled time0 -
Thanks, yes 8310 is the number, it is a newly scheduled flight that isn't currently appearing on any data feeds. The departure time is 0915 (we were told 0930 earlier today).
The 0630 is the flight we were due to be on, yes. Delay due to pilot not available.0
