They wil take as long as you let, possibly even not replying at all.
It al a numbers game for the airlines. They try to put as many valid claims of as possible.
If you have an email and ref. no write to them pointing out it is now a month since you submitted a claim (on the Jet2 website?)
Give them 14 days to pay, mark as an NBA/LBA or then start doing your work for small claims (Jet2 refuse to sign up to an ADR) or hand over to Botts or EUClaim (have you checked your flight on their websites for claim validity?)
If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

    The alleged Ringleader.........
  • I would just add to read Vaubans guide and I’m less pessimistic than JP, generally Jet2 are behaving themselves of late, I hope they haven’t taken a step back.

Thanks for your reply what does this mean? "mark as an NBA/LBA"
Yes I've checked the validity and it is a valid claim

Read Vaubans guide as we’ve both suggested and you won’t need to ask that question.

Good, So as you now know NBA stands for Notice Before Action / LBA essentially stands for the same thing Letter Before Action so off you go, next step in process - give them fourteen days, but realistically it could take a month!

@JP I was feeling soft, forgive me lol :D he/she is a quick reader!
