Hi shotts, anticipate a fight with Jet2
    BUT
Its been quiet on the Jet2 front recently. Are they learning the error of their ways, perhaps?

    Hi shottsguy22,

Yes you have a valid claim.

I'd write off the reserved seat for half a flight tho, you have bigger fish to fry!

If you bought any snacks etc, while you were delayed, you can also claim for those too, no alcohol tho.

Please let us know how you get on.

I meant to add they did give us a 15 Euro each voucher for snacks so can’t claim them! Any idea if I claimed the right amount ??

We'd never flown with Jet2 before last year, having usually gone with Thomson but we were very pleased. Both flights on time, better leg room, better baggage allowance and very friendly staff.
We had another flight with Jet2 today and yet again, it was perfect. Of course we have the return flight to come.

    :Legal Magpie,

    Jet2 seem to have done a 180.

Certainly sorted a lot of their problems out, shares on the up, a growing modern fleet, successfully moved into the SE market, etc etc

Perhaps it's all due to us;)

    Enjoy your holiday.

It may well have been quiet on here, but no such luck. Jet2 are most definitely fighting my claim. Have been meaning to post an update. I filed my directions after Jet2 filed their defence. Good news is it!!!8217;s been referred to my local court. Huge relief for me due to childcare responsibilities. Just waiting for a hearing date. As you will no doubt remember, I was delayed 19 hours on flight LS904 (Thessaloniki to Manchester) on 17 June 2017. They paid out on outbound (LS903) delay (cause of my delay), or so we believe, but arguing weather for my flight, even though it was the outbound segment that couldn!!!8217;t land... Putting me to proof I even took the flight (even though I have an email from them confirming refund on the meals they didn!!!8217;t supply on the flight I took) etc

So, no, Jet2 haven!!!8217;t changed their ways. Well, not for those who post here ;-)
