So the reason was that a 'little bird didn't tell them'!

Ooh the embarrassment. They'll do anything for free publicity..... even the wrong sort.

It's really odd that the publicity doesn't seem to be harming their business model.

Delayed flights = more publicity = higher profits.

    Bizarre

Perhaps passengers are increasingly booking with Jet2 in the hope of being eligible for compensation?

Who knows, the world of flight delays seems barmy

I think people are booking with Jet2 because they're cheaper than a lot of other airlines

I have been looking at prices for 2 flights to different destinations this week. jet2 came out cheaper. HOWEVER, there is no way I am flying with them again.

Whenever I've looked at flights from LBA ive found Jet2 much more expensive than Ryanair or EasyJet from Manchester.

Although living closer to LBA, I don't find it a problem to hop across the Pennines for a cheaper more reliable flight.

I've just looked at flights I may need to Rome/Pisa, ideally Rome, in the summer:
    Jet 2 £436 to Pisa £436 + bags (Jet2 don't do Rome on a Saturday....) Rarely pay 261/2004 compensation.
KLM to Rome, £266, inc bags.
Paid delay compensation within 4 weeks....
    Go figure ;)

Wow. So Jet2 are blaming 2birds and the Court? Well, I hope the efficient people at 2birds see this; if I were them I would be a tad annoyed.

I could do with an update on the Bradford Jet2 case. Does anyone know anything?

Has anyone asked Botts what happened?

How long does it take for a ruling to be published?

This article may help you slightly, although it's a Ryanair case it's worth noting what the judge had to say.

It suggests that the judges at Liverpool are well aware and prepared for the T&C argument.

    Good luck.
