It is a Jet2 claim and thanks for that guidance. Can I still do it through an MCOL?0
-
You can indeed - although remember if it's for more than one person you really should be using the paper claim form.0
-
Will make sure I do the paper forms in that case.0

Our flight with JET2.com from Alicante to Leeds Bradford airport was delayed for 10 hours in Alicante on 24th June 2010. I have been writing to Jet2 since 19.2.13 and also written to the CAA in London and the AESA in Spain. Both of whom replied and the latter informed us that we SHOULD receive compensation.
However ,after sending 4 letters to Jet2 and copies of the correspondence from the Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aerea and also seeking advice from our local citizen advice bureau JET2 are still refusing to pay us any compensation, citing Extraordinary circumstances as their excuse!!!
Jet2 say the reason for our flight was due to an engine fault on the aircraft scheduled to operate our flight.
They have also told us that any steps to obtain damages by us must be taken through the English Courts!
Has anyone taken JET2.com to court for travel compensation?
Can you give me some advice please?
Thank you.0 -

My advice is to have a good read of others experiences, as reported on the forum. And then read the FAQs at page one. Everything you need to know is there.0 -

Hi All
thought you'd be interested to know that I've received my quickest reply from jet2 from putting in my LBA!! Unsurprisingly spouting the usual EC and the old 2 year time limit rule. Court beckons0 -
Newcastle to Faro flight LS597 (Jet2), 25th August 2012 - delayed by 3 hours 12 minutes.
Jet2 are insisting that passengers were boarded prior to the scheduled flight time (which was 07:05am), and then disembarked 45 minutes later, and then re-boarded several hours later. I know this to be untrue, but they are quoting the flight report and even the airports' Daily Operational Report - was anyone else on this flight?0
