Flight was initially announced as delayed, but after half an hour or so, we were bussed to Flumicino and then flew from there.
Ryanair have rejected EU261 claim due to adverse weather conditions elsewhere having a knock on affect. I've submitted an appeal via the Italian CAA so fingers crossed.
I claimed for over 4 hr delay landing with Easy Jet because they'd used our plane elsewhere.
Had all the details but Easy Jet refused.
Typical.It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
It's taken almost a year but my husband and I have just received flight delay compensation from Ryanair for Flight FR1906 which was due to depart Bari airport on the evening of 3rd April 2018 (for Stansted) but which they decided to cancel at short notice. On 3rd April 2018 Ryanair cancelled a number of flights citing a European Computer failure which happened early that morning. However, by lunchtime (around midday) the computer failure was fixed meaning that Ryanair were liable to pay compensation for any flights they then decided to cancel for travel later that day. Originally when I complained to Ryanair directly they refused my claim, however, I then went to the Ombudsman through the Resolver tool. It's taken a lot of too-ing and fro-ing but it's been worth it. Today my husband and I received just over GBP 718 for all the costs that were incurred to getting us back to Stansted that night. If you have a strong case, don't be deterred!

I've had a claim in with AviationADR for a canceled Ryanair flight in September 2018. The 90 days had passed so I contacted them and left a voicemail.
Yesterday I had a phone call from them saying that Ryanair was no longer part of their scheme so they couldn't take it any further and my only option was to contact the CAA.
I've followed the links to the CAA website but their online forms won't process as they state that Ryanair are part of AviationADR! Looks like I'm going round in circles.0 -
Yet another CAA mess up. Ryanair withdraw from the ADR process several months ago, yet the CAA, typically, are in denial.
Probably best to send a normal letter, using the webform as a guide as to what is required. And point out the error on the VCAA website needs updating.
Have you read up Dr Watson's notes on the ESCP?If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Have you read up Dr Watson's notes on the ESCP?
Sorry no, I've not seen anything of that, although I do admit not to have read this entire thread.0 -
Then download Vauban's most excellent guide for information on the claim process. There should be a link to Dr Watson's notes. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Existing Ryanair claims with AviationADR are only on hold for flights that were cancelled because of internal strike action. All other claims are unaffected and AviationADR should finalise the claim.

The ADR statement is still not clear as Ryanair have withdrawn from the ADR scheme. So ANY new claims after 30 November 2018 will have to go to CAA or court process.
Did you submit your claim after 30th November? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
