Do I have a legal right to sue Kiwi for this ?
They are based in the Czech Republic so you have would to take legal action there. Probably better to just avoid shonky 3rd party sites in the future. It's also a good idea to keep an eye on delays yourself instead of relying on the airline/agent to inform you.0 -
I have already asked for it.
Well all is not lost, ensure you get your claim in both for compensation and the additional expenses incurred, today.
I'm not sure if there are 2 seperate webforms for expnses and compensation. There are on the easyJet website.
Others will know.
Prepare for a fight, Ryanair (alas like most airlines now) will probably play hardball denying any liabilty. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

I will fill the claim now but I cannot claim for food because I will be in Rome till tomorrow.0

Ok. There's worse places to be marooned
If Ryanair are true to form, they will probably reject all of your claims.
They will reject your re-routing expenses - flights, hotel and sustinance on the basis that you claimed a frefund.
Your legal argument centers around the part of the regulation which obliges the airline to:
1. Inform you all your rights and options under reg. 261/2004. It would appear they followed their normal MO if ignoring the law and disregarding you as a paying passenger.
2. Provide a re-routing option convenient to you, not them. Obviously a flight 5 days later is unacceptable. They gave you service in this respect as there were no staff and the telephone service didn't answer/work.
3. Have a duty of care until you are on a flight home. This includes your reasonable hotel and subsitance expenses. Keep receipts for everything. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

To my surprise my Resolver Ryanair case has failed miserably.
Should I take it to the court or some commercial, specialized online company which will try again on my behalf (for some cut of course)?

can anyone confirm what the email address is to reply to Ryanair
I replied to the email I received in response to my EU261 claim
just wondering if this a working email or not
also how long shall I give before I follow this up (its 14 days so far) assuming they got my email in the first place. I appreciate Ryanair will drag their heels with this but just want to be sure they have it
Thanks0 -

if you put your flight details into EUClaim it shows
An analysis of the data for this flight shows that an extraordinary circumstance was the cause of the delay.
Unfortunately you are not entitled to compensation
which suggests the cancellation was part of the French ATC strike cancellations
