Well done and a good quick result, thats unusual from Ryanair!
Please let us know when the money is in your account.
As requested...
Flight with a 4h59m Delay from Bournemouth to Girona on 26th May with Ryanair.
Staff at airport said it was technical.
3rd June - Claim filled in with Resolver
4th June - Reply saying decision within 7 days
5th June - Decision in our favour, £1095 paid within 10 working days
14th June - Money in the bank
After reading through this thread I was sceptical.
But I have to say Ryanair.. WELL DONE!!0 -
I still haven't got a response by ryanair...0

Looking for some quick advice.
In short, Flight delay yesterday , Cork to Stansted. Delay was eventually about 8 hours. As far as I'm aware , I'm supposed to be entitled to compensation. Now, on the website, there is a way to claim a full refund for a delayed flight. There is also a separate way to claim compensation. Which of these am I meant to do?? If I do the first one, I presume I'll get back what I paid for that leg of the flight. Bu the figure being mentioned yesterday was 250 euro compensation. If I fill in the online form for that, there are only three options.
1 That you re booked a different flight with Ryanair
2 You booked with a different airline
3 you just didn't travel
Now, none of these are true in my case. I just went on the original flight number . Which took off and landed about 8 hours late. It also asks for other expenses, like food and so on. I'm not interested in this. I have no receipts anyway. But if I leave it blank, it won't submit the form. If I put in a figure of 0.00, then it still won't submit.
Should I just be doing the first option of only applying for a refund?0 -
have you looked at this section? https://contactform.ryanair.com/?cr=eu261&lg=en&id=780

A week before our flight Ryanair changed their scheduled departure from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. which means we'd not arrive on time for our second flight.
Eventually, we worked out another route which involves flying the day before, staying overnight in a hotel and then getting our second flight as normal. Between new flights, hotel and transport we're down about £500.
We know there really isn't anything we can do to recoup the costs as airlines are fully within their rights to change their schedules (something I only just learned). Also, most travel insurers won't help, ours certainly won't.
However, as Ryanair told us less than two weeks before departure and as the delay was significant (over three hours) we should at least be able to get a refund for our flights?
When I call them they mess me around for awhile and then claim we don't get a refund as they're allowed to change their flight times but that's not what their terms and conditions say.
How can I force Ryanair to honor their own terms and conditions and refund us?0 -

So I've filled that in anyway, and put my comment. Basically asking how to proceed. The EU261 form is not appropriate in my case. Or for anybody who just flew on the delayed flight rather than re booking.
I'll wait and see if they respond.
They certainly do not make it easy!!0 -
Helpwithryanair - someone more knowledgeable than me will be along in a bit, but it depends on whether the original flight was cancelled or genuinely rescheduled. If cancelled and an alternative rescheduled, you would be entitled to a refund AND compensation. If the same flight rescheduled, then just a refund. Check Ryan Air’s T’s+C’s.0

No need to call them, just fill in the refund form on their website:

I'm still going through the court procedure for an old claim, but a more recent flight was also delayed over 3 hours. Should I claim the other 250euros now or wait to finish the last claim?0

helpwithryanair - Ryanair can reschedule their flights anytime they like.
Unfortunately for Ryanair, regulation 261/2004 penalises them for doing this.
Were you informed with more, or less than 7 days notice?
Unfortunately you haven't given us any details of your flights - date, route times etc so we are unable to help you further.
You maybe able to claim both compensation, and a refund under 261/2004.
